Not as heavy as i thought it would be But it should let the rain water run under it so it the mat it self wont get wet through .So i am pleased with the product .

This is one tough mat!
Very pleased with the product. I cut it to fit my doorstep and it was a battle as the mat is so tough but I managed and it looks great. Would buy again but I doubt this one will ever wear out!
