A very solid device
Picked this one because it looked well made - specifically for chopping roasted almonds. Performs as advertised on hard nuts, with a little back and forth motion. Softer nuts like walnuts are like butter. Overall, very happy with purchase.

Just not sure. This replaces another chopper by this company where the chopper blades broke and eventually the shaft came loose from the plastic cam. The old one had a round, glass base and did last over 10 years.This one is all plastic and feels flimsy. The base is large OVAL, not round, and gets in the way when cranking- large hands- that was not a problem with the old one. the blades themselves feel sturdy.

Nice improvement over old style chopper
Used an older similar chopper for 50 years. This is more ergonomic. Bigger handle easier on big hands, rubber ring on bottom keeps it from sliding off the counter top when grinding, cup is slightly bigger and marked so you know how much you’re chopped. Not rocket science but and worthy improvement!
