Good Boom Arm, Good Aftersales Support
=Intro=I have this Boom Arm attached to a Fifine AM8 for casual communication uses as I am upgrading my audio set-up to have a dedicated mic and headphone solution as opposed to a headset/mic combo, as the mic on my current headset is failing.=Aftersales Support=Originally when the arm came, the hand screw piece that clamps the mic down to the arm broke after I tightened it. I then reached out to Fifine Support [Rosie] about the issue, and after a few days, I had a brand new hand-screw part in hand at no cost to replace the old one, which now works and does not suffer from the same issue, so thank you for good after sales support on that. Now, as for the boom arm.=Physical Specs=The arm itself extends to a total length of ~28 inches, not including the length of your mic, which I feel is ample to position your mic roughly ~5 to 6 inches from your face even from a laid-back posture, if you were all the way pushed in to your desk. You can tighten the joints of the arm with included hex wrenches. I have not tested the tightness of the joints after tightening as that's not my use-case.The clamp itself has a very small desk footprint, taking up about 2.5 inches in width, and 2 inches in depth on the desk. The ball joint for adjusting the mic at the end of the boom arm is a bit finicky to adjust at first, as one clamp is responsible for adjusting the mic left and right, and also up and down. Luckily, the aforementioned hand-screw makes tuning this a bit easier. I've got it tightened to a point where I can adjust it with some force while tightened, but the mic still holds in place.=Cons/Feedback=Something that I wish they had added is the ability to drill the boom arm into your desk as opposed to a clamp, similar to a monitor stand. It's hard for me to tighten the arm entirely due to the clamp's position on my desk. This does not seem to be a common concept amongst other boom arms for some reason. Also, instead of a long hand screw to tighten the clamp from the underside, it would be nice if it was a cross-style or T-style hand screw so it would be easier to tighten the clamp in tight spaces [i.e, between desk legs and a drawer which is where my clamp is].I'm not entirely sure if this is due to me over-tightening it, or adjusting it while tightened, but the ball-joint's powder coating seems to be scraping off a little. This doesn't seem to affect the functionality of the mic as a whole, or the overall general appearance, but just something to note.I do feel at times the clamp or the socket (unsure which) where the arm where the arm connects to the clamp is a tiny bit wobbly if I brush it with my arm, but I would say is stable at the end of the day.=Price=I got it on sale at ~40$, however even at MSRP, this is a solid buy as a beginner level boom arm. It holds my mic in place, pushes away easily when I don't want it there. Most other boom arms start at ~70$ from the research I had done from more established audio companies [Shure, Rode, Elgato, etc] for a hanging boom arm, with low-profile options costing more. I definitely feel like that this is a very competitive pricepoint for this boom arm.

The perfect shade of pink!
If you have a pink set-up, this is by far the prettiest shade of pink you can get for your mic stand! The color perfectly matches my Edifier speakers and the mic itself, and I love how the low profile keeps my mic from interfering with the view of the screen. That said, while it's perfect for me, it may not be perfect for everyone, so let's look at some pros and cons:Pros:- Super pretty pink color, not too bright, and consistent throughout.- Easily moves around and then stays in place once set, very sturdy with no drooping.- Hides the wires for a very sleek and professional look.- Long reach and low profile keeps it from obstructing my view of the screen.- Firmly grips the desk and doesn't move once placed.- I saw people complain that you need to use the allen wrench to adjust it, but in my experience, you should never need to tighten it enough to necessitate using that, unless you need this thing to never ever move.Cons:- Many people have mentioned the plastic covers for the wires. They are easy to remove, but they pop off VERY suddenly when pushed, so mind your fingers so they don't catch on the metal bits inside.- The 5/8 adapter screw it came with is absolute rubbish. The threads are only in the middle and don't reach deeply enough for a Razer Seiren Mini mic to make any use of them. I bought a 5/8 to 1/4 adapter on Amazon to attach it directly, and even that wasn't quite perfect because the Razer Mini's threads are plastic and may degrade from overuse. This is a very specific con, but one I was looking for since I planned to use it with my mini.- The plastic turning gears to tighten the mic holder feels a little fragile. And this is another very specific con, but for some reason, mine was used when it arrived! It ended up being fine aside from the box being torn and some pieces pre-assembled, but seeing as this is an Amazon issue, I didn't factor it into my score.I really hope fifine releases more accessories in this colorway, because it's really pretty!

Desktop Mic Stand
So I bought a so-called 'desktop' mic stand, and it was way too tall for me. If I had understood the product description (10"-15" tall) I would not have been surprised, but it was a drunken impulse-driven purchase, so what can I expect?ANYWAYS, this one is way much betterer. While its starts off @ 4" above my desktop, I can position the mic lower then the actual clamp, not that I would want to, but I can.I like that.It also folds out of the way nicely, so I don't have to unclamp the thing when I want to transition from podcasting to deep-diving the Matrix.Don't have a clue as to how this compares to similar products because I haven't tried any of 'em, but this works good for me.

Sleek, elegant, does what it needed to do
One of the cleanest mic arms I have EVER had. I love that it has cable management and hides your mic cables, and how sleek and elegant it looks. it's sturdy, very adjustable, and all-around a great product if you're looking to clean up your setup

Highly Recommend
Excellent mic arm. I was concerned that a chubby XLR cable might not fit inside, but it does, no problem—removable panels in the arm slide off. Very pleased with the quality.

It's Worth It
By FAR the best mic stand I've ever owned. It feels high quality, it can handle the weight of the mic without bouncing, has very smooth movement functionality and its super low profile design keeps your mic out of the way. My first review for a product ever -- that's how impressed I am with the stand.

Awesome
An awesome mic arm. Fits my Shure SM7B just fine (mic came with the adapter - the adapter with the arm would not have worked) and was easy to setup and attach to my desk. Nice and sturdy. Love the white in contrast with my purple mic cable. Also love the cable management sliders. Holds the weight of the mic no problem and is easy to adjust
