Reliable and Perfect for Video Shoots!
I purchased the NEEWER CB60B for a recent video shoot, and it worked flawlessly! The light is powerful and provides consistent, high-quality illumination, which was exactly what I needed to achieve a professional look for my project. The bi-color feature was a game-changer, allowing me to adjust the color temperature seamlessly to match different environments. It was easy to set up and control, and the build quality feels solid and durable—perfect for on-the-go shoots or studio work. One of the best things about it is how quiet it is. Even during longer sessions, there was no noise interference, which is crucial for video work. Plus, it’s lightweight and portable, making it super convenient to transport. If you’re looking for a reliable and versatile light for your video productions, I can’t recommend the NEEWER CB60B enough. Your Own Personal Sun on a Stand
Title: “Turns Any Basement Into a Hollywood Set” Review:The NEEWER CB60B is basically a 70-watt ball of controlled daylight — powerful enough to light up a room like a nuclear event, but with the finesse to dial things down to a gentle, cinematic glow. The bicolor function is fantastic, letting you seamlessly shift from cool daylight to warm tungsten with no weird color casts. The build feels rugged and pro-tier, not toy-grade, and the included Bowens mount means you can throw any softbox or modifier on it without worrying it’ll sag or snap. The fan is quiet enough that you won’t hear it unless you’re recording audio in total monk-like silence. Controls are intuitive, but pair it with the NEEWER app and you’ll adjust settings from across the room like a Hollywood gaffer with a remote. Pros:✔️ Super bright 70W output with solid bicolor range✔️ Quiet fan keeps things cool✔️ Bowens mount compatibility = endless modifier options✔️ Easy app or manual control✔️ Built tough Cons:➖ You’ll discover how bad your other lights are by comparison Bottom line: if you want to bring pro lighting into your studio without maxing out a Hollywood budget, the CB60B is an absolute powerhouse. It turned my gloomy office into a legit production studio, and now my other lights are crying in the corner.

This light is going to get a lot of use!
The NEEWER CB120B 120W LED COB (Chip on Board) Video Light is extremely bright, easy to use, and well-built. I wish it came with a case like some other lights, but the box (with a handle on top) will suffice for now. If you aren’t familiar with this kind of light, you might be surprised by its size, as it is fairly large. This is helpful when using a Bowens mount softbox, as smaller lights sometimes don’t hold up to the weight. It has a quick adjustment lever; just make sure you are holding onto the light’s handle, as it has a tendency to flop forward (this isn’t unusual, but detents/ratchet would be nice, though I’m sure many people would rather have an infinite number of positions for the light). If you are using basic lighting stands, a sandbag is a must to ensure it doesn’t tip over.Another great feature is the Neewer app. Wow! It took seconds to connect to my light, and the controls were simple to use. You can change the intensity, color, and select effects. You can even match the color of another light with a single tap–so much better than fiddling with dials. It should be noted that this light has a strong hot spot when used with the included reflector, but since I use diffusers, softboxes, book lighting, etc… that really isn’t an issue. At this price point, I’m not complaining. This is an excellent addition to anyone’s lighting setup. It’s strong enough to be a solid key light, versatile enough to be used in other applications, and easy to use. The CB120B is a great light all around.

good product and decent engineering (orig: Higher defect risk than other product line due to design)
=== modified after ~1 month ===I was approached by the manufacturer, after I returned the CB60 and purchased another FS150. The team went down to find the root cause of the CB60 failure due to a chip which is more likely to fail, instead of lacking of a transformer which I suspected. I respect that their engineer standing firm, and got to the root cause. According to the manufactuer, the current models are good products with new chips.I have received a replacement of CB60 and so far it's been performing correctly. Therefore I'm modifying my comments and rating. I changed my mind. This is indeed a well designed product. I feel that the manufacturer take great responsibility and pride in their product. I had excellent communication with the team. You have my respect.I'm taking down 1 star due to the original faulty unit. This is probably not the manufacturer's fault. More likely a fault due to their supply chain. But with a team like this, I have confidence that they can deliver good products and experience.=== original comment ===This item CB60 lacks voltage transformer. It uses wall outlet 110v without stabilizing. Therefore much easier to fail comparing to other products like FS150 with proper power transformer. Mine stopped functioning after 5 days. Also, you control it either from a Bluetooth device like a cellphone, or physical buttons on its back. No dedicated remote available. Mind your studio design.

Good for a first studio light… bluetooth & wifi connectivity for easy control 1 or group devices
A really great studio light, especially if you don't need or want the RGB full-color lights. The app is really excellent. You can control just one or group all your lights together. The ability to adjust from warm to cool light temperatures, plus the ability to save presets and activate easy standard lighting presets (sunlight, daylight, studio light, tungsten, etc). Also special effects, lightning, strobe, fireworks, etc.

This is a must in your video recording setups!
Excellent quality! This has taken my videos to a whole new level. Very sturdy, good value for the money though. The App works great, but just so you know; if you turn the light off from your App it’s going to be in Sleep mode kind of like. Make sure to turn the switch off when you’re done using it.
