Good product a little goes a long way.

Solar Sheen works well as a cleaner and it is very effective in removing dirt and debris from my solar panels, however it didn’t seem to offer long-term protection against the elements because just a few weeks later, my solar panels got dirty again, but that’s OK because this is more of a cleaning solution then a protectant. I just thought it had a little bit more long-term coverage as well. Overall, it is a solid cleaning liquid and if that’s what you’re looking for this is gonna do the trick. Not cheap but they give you a very concentrated solution so it will last and save money over the long run. I have learned it’s more about cleaning frequently to keep solar panels shiny all season long.

Made a cleaning solution per instructions. Used a telescoping pole and 18" window washing attachment purchased at Home Depot. Hosed off surface of solar panels. Dipped window washing cloth into washing solution. Wiped off solar panels, replenishing washing solution as required. Dirt was quickly removed. Rinsed off solar panels immediately after washing. Solar panels were clean and shinny even after drying.After a month the panels are clean and look much cleaner than the solar panels on nearby houses. Cannot document increase solar production after cleaning, maybe 10% but hard to document with kWh increased production due to cleaningHome Depot telescoping pole and window washing soft micro cloth attachment, good value, design, quality. Cleaning solution worked. $100 investment for every thing -hard to document payback period/ROI. Solar panels are definitely cleaner and the dirt is not returning to the surface after a month plus

Just used it back 2 weekends on my home solar panels and then last weekend on my small set on my yard shed. The home has 49 panels and can be challenging, but the liquid cleaners works great. Two person job, one on the ground filling the hose dispenser and the other on the ladder doing the work. Husband and wife team. Guess who is on the ladder. Out of curiosity I measure the voltage on the shed panels before and after cleaning. Before (they were as dirty as the house) 12.4 volts being generated. Ok, batteries charging, but after cleaning 13.8 volts a ~10% improvement. I noticed my home panels were having trouble keeping up with our electric pool heater. After cleaning, I was still generating a little power with the pool heater on. So really like the product but only saw these results with this product.

I rarely leave reviews, but this stuff works. First off, I am a manufacturing engineering so I have some background in with the best processes used to clean.From a visual perspective, my panels looked a little dusty but nothing you would consider dramatic. Also to note, I have cleaned them before, and we have had decent amount of rain so I was not expecting much of change.That said, this time of year, even after trimming some of the taller birds of paradise so the sun hits earlier in the morning, just now, 3-10-24 @ 2:45 PST, checking, the system was producing ~ 2.1 KW. Peak output in the summer, with the sun directly overhead is 4.2KW. Our bill had gone but we added a guest house, electric car charging, more stay at home work, so I figured that was most of but per below obviously not the only reason.After applying this from a bucket on the rinse setting with a battery operated pressure washer and letting it set, then coming back and rinsing off with the pressure washer changed to the turbo setting since I already had it on the roof, (I normally use a a pole brush with a hose attached), output now up to 3.7KW. Needless to say I was stunned.One thing to note, this product will not remove the pollen we have here in So Cal simply by apply and rinse, you will need to scrub it off but with this it takes very little effort. I have 24 panels and perhaps 3 ounces so ~ 10 cleanings but I could see more if you are starting with cleaner panels.

After a unusual cold snap and heavy rains, my panels didn't seem to be getting the same output. After attaching a spray attachment, filled with this product I connected it to a water hose. After spraying, the panels, then leaving it run off I rinsed the panels. I once again have great output without paying someone to come clean them !
