Felt a real noticable difference in throttle response
Put it on a 2020 Durango r/t and it made a noticable difference, also did a throttle body spacer and cold air intake, resonator delete and muffler delete. Feel the throttle response pretty good on level 3.9 and also feel low end torque increase with the spacer, cold air intake is a must as well....

Cheaper version of the pedal commander type devices
What's more frustrating than a truck that is tough to get good mileage with? The truck feeling sluggish because the vehicle manufacturer decided to write code into the ECU to keep your gas pedal from going when you push it. Granted, the designers put much work into the torque management system to help keep the mpg's somewhat under control when you're making 400hp these days in half-ton trucks. So, driving my Ram under normal conditions, the mileage is halfway decent. I just hate the pedal lag. Most reports I've witnessed after people have used the "pedal commander" type of tuners are very happy results. I just couldn't commit to the cost. When I ran across the review of a 9-Drive device, I realized huge cost savings with it. I jumped on Amazon and ordered the 809, which works with Gen 5 Rams. When it arrived, I couldn't wait to install it. The device is small, making it easy to find a mounting point, but it's not too small to make quick changes. I installed the device in maybe 35 seconds. Full disclosure I looked at a video before starting. Basically, you unplug the connector that attaches to the gas pedal and install the provided pigtail in series. The button feedback is nice and easy to understand. You can operate normally without anything added from the unit, all the way up to several levels of race mode. Point of clarity, you won't make your truck more powerful, the device just adds voltage to the ECU depending on throttle position. With a throttle-by-wire system that most cars now have, the gas pedal position is determined by a sensor. The sensor relays that position for the ECU by verifying a voltage output. For instance, if the pedal is at idle, the sensor sends 0v to the ECU. At full throttle, it will send 5v to the ECU and varying voltages in between. The ECU will then open the throttle body based on the voltage determined by the ECU. The engineers take that voltage and filter it a bit, requiring more of a pedal "push" to increase the voltage, producing a lag feel at your foot. Older carbureted engines don't have that lag because the throttle is mechanically connected to the carburetor, so the carb opens at the same rate the gas pedal moves. Here's where "pedal commanders" work. They take the voltage reported by the gas pedal's position and add different voltage levels (depending on the device setting), and the ECU "thinks" the pedal is being pushed harder. The changes made on the 9-Drive take instantly and can be changed as you drive. I can't compare the 9-Drive to a competitor since I have used others. But for the price, it does exactly what I expected from a device of its kind. Word of caution, It's fun, very fun. And your gas mileage will not like it. I enjoyed the highest level of race mode, which feels like a well-tuned carburated hot rod. But after watching my average mileage drop a couple of points, I changed to a mid-range setting. To me, that's the sweet spot. It has made the truck much more responsive, but only lightly affected my average mpg's. Very happy customer.

Works nicely.
Great product for the price. Made my 2020 SR5 much more drivable even with the dim witted auto transmission. Helps hold the lower gears a little longer during acceleration and makes passing throttle response much smoother and quicker.

Did very little if anything...compared to a Pedal Commander.
I have a 2014 RAM 1500 with the 3.6 Pentastar. Overall, love my truck and the engine..but hate the lag. A while back, I tried a Pedal Commander....wholly crap! Talk about a rocket ship. But I just couldn't justify the cost of it. Fast forward a few years to this item. Installs even faster then the PC. I did notice that the buttons move quite a lot from side to side, like the entire thing is lose inside of the cover. Regardless, took the truck for a spin. Very, very little if any noticeable change on 1.0 to 1.9. Tried 2.0 to 2.9. Just a little less lag when pressing the pedal. 3.0 to 3.9, again, some noticeable different in the pedal, but not that much. Very, very unimpressed with this item at this point, and believe me, for the price, if it had done HALF of what the Pedal Commander did, I would be happy. I am returning it....maybe I got a bad one, IDK. When I receive the next one, and if it changes, then I will update the review. But as of right now...this doesn't even rate the 'you get what you pay for' because it did very, very little.

Very nice
Wow! I did not expect this to work so well. P2.9 (sports) mode is aggressive. I don't even want to try racing mode. Highly recommend. Super easy to install. Don't worry about negative reviews.... I did and I'm happy now. Worth the $40.Tiguan SE R-Line Black EditionStage +1

06 Tacoma throttle commander
Bought this instead of Raxiom, for my 2006 Tacoma 2.7L. I had little expectations, but to my surprise it works great. The change is instant and the throttle pedal sensitivity can be lowered below factory, and increased to nearly unusable [in a good way].Because the altered throttle signal is sent to the PCM, which results in altered shift patterns to match the new throttle input. The difference is amazing.

Arteon Throttle Controller
Was looking for an affordable throttle controller for my 2023 VW Arteon to help with the dismal factory accelaration. Based on reviews the 9-Drive looked like a great option but when checking compatability it did not list any late model VWs. I researched the accelerator plugs for the Passat and Jettas and they were listed the same as the Arteon's so I took a chance and ordered model 806 (the one for most newer VWs and Audis). The gamble paid off. The unit adapters fit perfectly and worked better than expected. I have it on P1.4 and that setting is plenty responsive without any jerkiness or sudden acceleration. The carNow accelerates quickly with no hesitation. I also tried Sport settings P2.1 to P2.6 but the acceleration was more aggressive than I prefer, so I dialed it back to P1.4 for daily driving. Definitely a great buy at a fraction of the cost of the popular branded ones.
