ValterraOdorlos V77012 Holding Tank Treatment (6lb Tub),1 Pack

Love this amazing product and am glad Amazon sells it. HOWEVER, Amazon really needs to pack it better. Both buckets were on their sides in torn plastic bags in the shipping box. The pressure from being moved and possibly dropped popped the seals and there were Odorlos beads everywhere, including the post office where I was scolded because they didn’t know what it was and were worried about damage to clothing, floors, etc. AND, now it is in my car too. What was worse was that a food product (rice) had been shipped with it. Thank gosh it had plastic around the food or it would have been contaminated. Now I have 2 x 3/4 full buckets and a mess to clean up instead of two full buckets and time on my hands...

I would have given this 5 stars...but over the past 3 years several of these tubs have opened up in shipping and arrived with the contents in the bottom of the box. A bit of a hassle getting all those little beads back into the tub. I have noticed that the box is not the same each time. I did make a complaint the last time, and they did replace the tub. Which was appreciated, but doing this on a regular basis would lead to price increases along the way. Possibly a box made to fit the tub correctly would help as well as an insert that would hole the tub in place so that is doesn't pop off in shipping...or better yet how about a shrink band around the lid. This is a great product and I am full timer in my 5th wheel for 3 years now. Don't want to have to go back to the smelly blue stuff. I also appreciate that this fits just about anywhere in my storage area in the bath room. Definitely needs a stronger gauge of cardboard box for shipping if nothing else. Please note this is the dry product, NOT the liquid container.

Best poop tank de-smeller around. But, it won't fix gas leaking toilets. Only way to repair that is to replace the toilet and vacuum cleanout valve. Lasts for about 5 days in hot weather and 10 in cold weather. Have to add water to the tank for it to work. I've been using this product for 15 years or so. Met some folks at an RV show that were selling it when they were first starting up. Looks like they have sold the company to one of the corps. Stuff still works great! We noticed that once you get your tank started on this stuff, you don't have to use it as often. Just an observation.

Been using Odorlos in the bulk pail for 8 years, through two RVs. Never tried any other product because it's always worked. No holding tank odor, no perfumes, no chemical odor. I highly recommend it.

I have use this product for a few years now. Works well.The nice thing about the tub is you can add as little or as much as you want over the course of time in order to control the odors. They also sell this in dissolvable packets that dumps all of the chemicals in all at once and I don't think that's as effective.

Best rv toilet deodorant!! Believe me, we've tried them all!Will never buy anything else.

Love the product, BUT when I received it in a box with 2 other items the lid to Odorlos was slightly opened so some of the granules were loose in the box. To maybe matters worse the box had gotten a little wet and ha gotten in the box with the loose granules. A mess.....

The product did not break down the toilet paper or the poop. It did not control the odor either. I ended up having to really flush my black tank out several times (never had to do this before with other products) to get everything flushed out of the tank. I discontinued using this product. Not satisfied at all.
