What an improvement!
This rescued my reception! My satellite dish on the blink, so frees at not an option and had a circular indoor aerial to get free view. I can see the mast out the front window and yet the reception was awful. Wouldn’t pick up any HD at all and most channels unwatchable. I ordered this and what a transformation! All HD is there. Picture is great.Cable is a bit short. And the aerial literally really only works in one position. Small nudge and the picture scrambles, so do take some time to adjust it if you think at first it doesn’t work.Four stars due to short cable. Otherwise five stars as the picture quality is great.

Like all indoor aerials - Average Delivery on promises
Yes it works, is it great, does it give the best performance?Well essentially depends on your location from your nearest transmitter.Yes I get a picture, yes it needs to be moved around to achieve the best signal, but, as ever, not perfect. How does it compare to other manufacturers.... no idea I don’t have the money to buy loads and evaluate one against another. I would guess no better or worse than any other, over the last 40years or so I’ve owned about 4 indoor aerials and I wouldn’t call any excellent. But this one does work to a point.

Great - but not perfect!
Our One 4 All ring-style indoor television aerial was simply not cutting the mustard, and would pick up plenty of channels during the day - but not at night. Success was entirely dependant on minute angle changes. This aerial is far superior, but it loses a star for not picking up CBeebies HD! Ours is positioned in a bay window, oriented to face the local Freeview transmitter, and it picks up plenty of channels - but sadly not the one we seem to see the most of!With this aerial replacing a mediocre aerial, and a new TV with FreeSat, we have bought a couple of hard drives for our televisions and have cancelled Sky :)

Did not work in our location but it isn't the first to fail
One For All offer a wide variety of aerials primarily intended for short- to mid-distance (0-15 miles range from transmitter) reception of Freeview digital TV. The "One For All Amplified Indoor Digital TV Aerial, Curved HDTV Antenna – UHF/VHF - Black - SV9430" is one of them and also one of the smallest. The aerial elements are totally enclosed in plastic and not visible. It contains its own signal booster/amplifier and is therefore mains powered. The power lead for the included PSU is significantly longer than its signal lead.Ordered to replace two previously received examples of another design and from another brand. Neither worked for us although a much older version of the same design had - it had fallen and was damaged but has since been patched so that it is usable and continues to function about as effectively as before. Unfortunately this was also completely non-functional. There is no LED on the aerial body or on the power adapter to show that either or both is 'live' so possibly one or both may be totally dead - there is no way to know. The co-axial lead is a very thin but flexible one, permanently fitted and rather short at only 1.2 metres and which would therefore demand an extension cable be used to allow flexibility in positioning. A concern was about how well shielded a cable that thin could possibly be - ineffective shielding could allow high levels of signal loss while also allowing RFI interference from other equipment. It was positioned almost in contact with a large window as suggested, among other locations, but none produced a signal. It, like the others, was therefore returned.

Better (and smaller) than expected
We have never had luck with our tv, and I used to have a digital aerial and it was awful. I decided to try one last time, and I am really glad I did as it works, pretty well. There is a little bit of making sure it is aiming the right direction, but once you find that spot we are able to fully enjoy all of the digital tv and record with confidence. It is, weirdly, smaller and more discrete than we were expecting. I kind of thought that it would be large and ugly (ok it is smart enough, but it is not exactly art) this big box arrives, but inside it is pretty small, and non intrusive.

Great, but cable too short
Excellent product. Signal quality and strength in high 90%.Would have given 5 stars if cable was double the length. Way too short.
