The Maitys 60'' Sensory Chair is an inflatable, velvet-soft peapod designed specifically for children with autism. Its unique boat-shaped design provides deep pressure therapy to reduce anxiety and sensory overload, while ergonomic handles promote muscle coordination. Equipped with a fast electric air pump, it inflates quickly and deflates for easy storage, making it a practical and calming space for kids to relax, focus, and thrive.

Autism approved ☑️
My 7 y/o has Autism so I was on the hunt for some sensory toys for him for xmas. Like always. He uses one of these pea pods at school so I figured we’d give it a shot at home, too. He LOVES it! The star pattern is a soft, felt like material. It comes with an easy to use air pump, and surprisingly is still standing after one week. That’s impressive considering we have 2 cats and kiddo that chews. Would definitely recommend for kids with sensory needs:)

Poor quality
The first time I received the sensory boat, and it had a hole in the sides, I returned the bad one, and received another one in exchange, this one had a hole in the floor. Both were damaged.

Doesn’t last but well loved
I have three autistic boys and they were so stoked on this. They would get in it and I would rock the boat and sing row row row your boat. They would seek it out for squeezes and also drape a blanket over it as a tent. It lasted about 3 months and although I wish it would last longer I will probably buy again when it goes on sale because they enjoyed it so much.

Keeps deflating
I bought 2 of these and 1 keeps deflating. I thought it was an issue with the valve so I did it again, but I’m still having the same result. My kid opened this up on Christmas and there hasn’t been more than 30 min at a time that this thing stays inflated. My other kid has the unicorn one and it hasn’t had an issues.

I just got it for my grandson and it has holes in it already.
My grandson loved it but it didn’t last long. He has autism and he liked how it snuggled him.
