Put the photo paper the right way round and finding the ON button
I love it. Took me a while to turn it on as I couldn't find it. Once found the prints are amazing and so easy to use. Also, for 23 pounds you can get 80 photo paper and the cartridges needed. Great value for money. At 147 pounds, its a little pricey but it does exactly what it says on the tin(showing my age with that comment)

Disappointing
I bought it to print photos from holiday - I manage to print 1 photo from 6 cartridges. The machine gets stuck all the time and as soon as it gets stuck, the entire cartridge doesn’t work anymore. I’ve emailed Kodak for customer support but all I got was auto generated response to check out their articles which are useless. Let’s see if the manufacturer replies at all to refund request.

Software implementation still needs improvement.
This is an improved version of the Canon series of Dye sublimation printers, different models of which I have previously owned. Although labelled and made to look as if it is a Kodak product it is actually a Korean designed and manufactured product made by Prinics who have licensed the use of the Kodak name on their own products of their own design. These devices have produced great prints under different brand names for many years and the technology works well. However the APP, and manual whilst getting better still needs further improvement. Even the instructions printed on the box are wrong when telling you which way to load the paper. Contrary to another review the printer works well with iPhones, either by Bluetooth or by docking. I would recommend the printer but the user must be willing to update the APP occasionally. Also spend some time working out the logic required to add multiple images to a collage - the method is not as obvious as it could be. I use collages as a way of obtaining several small images from one sheet of paper to paste in a travel journal. The ability to change the individual images to landscape or portrait as required before trimming helps minimise paper usage. The default settings produce good density prints with suitable contrast brightness and saturation although there are built in sliders if you wish to make adjustments. I would have liked a hue adjustment which is sadly missing. Be aware that there is one bad design fault whereby the power cable has to be plugged into the printer just over 1 centimetre above the rear slot from which the paper comes out of four times during each print. It is inevitable that this cable occasionally fouls the print path leading to a waste of not only the paper but also the cassette dye sub film.

Beware
Bought as a Christmas present. Used once on Boxing Day. Used again when returned from trip. Colour/ink film was being left in chunks on the photo paper. Colour/ink film now stuck to roller and roller does not uplift paper -error message now being displayed. No customer support available (that I can find) for a Kodak Dock Era printer. Very disappointed. Days outwith returns deadline.
