Clamp shut waterproof, holds a week plus
Each slot holds at least 10 #00 capsules. The big ones. I could maybe stuff 14 in, but it’ll squish them. It seemed like the caps could crack at that full. The small ones I could fit 21 in the big slot. Most i could get in 14. I tend to skip a bunch when away, so i imagine this would last me two weeks while away, and one week comfortably at home. The hinge is sturdy. The flaps for each slot swivel on a hinge. The pull tabs to are folded plastic. Each tab has an indent to grab it. Easier to grab, but that dent takes up room that could fit two pills. The clamp edge a raised lip to catch it. It pushes on. This is a single pivot clasp. The plastic feels hard enough that this won’t wear down anytime soon, but it does snap on with friction. it is not a double hinge that clamps down. The flat middle is a cool addition for packets. It’s heavier than baggies. Much more organized, and more waterproof. More droppable. Less leakable. More spillable, being the pills can shake around.Good for car travel. Plane travel if bag weight isn’t maxed out. I wanted a weekly one that would fit more than 2-3 pills. This has 2 different sized compartments and is designed so each kind gets its own slot. I maxed it for the photo in multiples of 7. It did fit a full weekly supply of everything i put in it.The waterproof seal and clasp lid is the most important feature. It replaces 7-8 bottles, so i can have one thing out and keep the bottles away. This also assists in tracking consumption. It’s a little different than what I had in mind, but it’s a solid little pill organizer. I am pleased.

An Almost Perfect Case
Review for: Daviky Travel Pill Organizer, Weekly Pill Dispenser 1 Time a Day, Large Pill Box, Moisture Proof 8 Compartment Pill Case, Portable Pill Holder for Medicines, Supplements and Vitamins (Blue)To get right down to it - yes I highly recommend this pill case. And I'm a pharmacist so that has to count for something, right? It's honestly pretty unique in the world of pill cases which... let's be real it's hard to make a unique pill case... they all do the same thing.Pros: SOLID, spacious, actually waterproof (to my testing but PLEASE also test yours), comes with labels, quality material, unique, affordable. I will definitely be using this for longer than a few days of traveling. I love that it's big enough to find quickly in a bag but small enough not to be a pain. I can see myself using it for jewelry or other small items, too. The best part for me is the space in the middle. It has always bothered me that there isn't room for packets or unit dose stuff (sublingual tabs, chewable antacids individually wrapped, etc) in most pill cases - PROBLEM SOLVED. I'll be using this as my over the counter meds case for this very reason. Plenty of room for allergy meds, pain meds, digestive meds, cold meds, etc.Cons: The hinges give me a little bit of pause & I hope they hold up over time. I wish the dividers were removable especially in the side with only 3 compartments. This would make it slightly more versatile and would earn that final star from me.

The Need For Us Was Waterproof: Yes! It is.
This case, which is quite impressive, needed to be waterproof. The ad mentions moisture proof, and shows photos of it bobbing in what appears to be a lake. I knew it would be used for primitive camping where there would be the possibility of a lot of wet.So I tested it in a sink, full of water. Closed it with no extra closure (like extra rubber bands, etc.) And it was so air tight, it floated. I put it under water, to see if it had a weak point for water to enter. Over and over, for 3 attempts. Finally, pulled it out and carefully opened it. The verdict was that this case was waterproof. No water went inside this pill box.As far as function go: this will make a nice storage and travel case, no matter what you want to keep dry now. Meds, first aid items, jewelry, etc. I suggest always taking anti-nausea and anti-diarrhea meds, because you never know what traveling differences in diet will get you ill.The outer case is very hard, which will help you when you are packing tightly - this won't crush easily.Overall: I give it high marks as a good, all purpose travel case that will keep stuff dry.

Almost amazing
I would have given this 5 stars except for one fatal flaw- the pull tabs to open the compartments are super flimsy, one has already broken off after a week of use. And it's really too bad, because otherwise this is a vary well designed and super high quality pill organizer. Given how much thought went into the design and execution, the flimsy pull tabs are a very strange design oversight. Hopefully they come out with a revised version that addresses this, because the compartments are quite difficult to open if the pull tab breaks.

Large waterproof and lockable Weekly Pill Organizer from Daviky
This is a review of " Travel Pill Organizer Daviky Weekly Pill Dispenser,Portable Pill Box, Moisture Proof 8 Compartment Pill Case,Daily Pill Holder for Medicines, Supplements and Vitamins (Blue)"[As a vine reviewer, I am pledging not to be compensated or influenced by the vendor; I state my opinions based on my personal experience without any bias or pressure]If you are like me, a regimen of daily pill is what keeps in one piece. Therefore, a reliable pill box is the next most-needed daily item after my laptop. This particular mini-lunch box sized pill box is a split box with four compartments on on side and three on the other, separated by a central separator-cum- middle compartment (which they are counting as the eighth place to keep your pills). The whole plastic box has a nice lock and since the individual compartments are well sealed, the medicines inside are well-protected. I did not find the middle separator or section to be a good idea since it was a bit too tight to open.Nevertheless the box is semi-transparent and very much usable for travel. Because of the nice domed lids, the box will not break quickly.I think this box is quite practical and I just moved all my daily medicines to this box and it is working out well. The only big negative is that the price may be a shade higher, but the box definitely works.I give it four stars on the whole.
