I love how sturdy these are. They are made of a nice, thick fabric to really block stains. I use these for crafting more than baking, but they protect well in either case. They are long, which is nice. I bought a set for me a year ago and loved them so much, I just bought this set to send with my kid to college too.

When I went looking for an apron to use while I'm crafting with inks and paints, I knew I wanted something that would fully cover me. This apron popped up and for the $3.99 price (at the time) I had nothing to lose. I couldn't have bought the material for that amount to make one myself. Ratings for it would great, and I carefully checked to be sure it would fit a plus size person, since I am one. It arrived quickly, I put it on, it fit great. Upon seeing it, my artist husband immediately said, "I want one," because, well, as an artist one can never have too many aprons. So I ordereed another one. A few things to consider in case it's a deal breaker for your needs. There are two pockets in front, but I find them to be a bit narrow (though deep). I'm thinking the stitching could possibly (likely) be snipped out to create one big pocket, if that's something someone would like to have. The other thing is the ties are skinny. That's ok by me (even though I prefer a wider tie) but wanted to point it out. And finally, the one thing both my busband and I wish it could do but can't due to our body types -- for us we can't wrap the ties around our waist so that we can finish typing it off in front. It would have been great (easier) if that were the case, but it's not a big deal. Someone who isn't as robust in size would maybe be able to wrap and tie it in front. So, you can see, the things I listed that might be a negative for some, aren't outragious. If the apron is used for crafting or for serving or for cooking, etc. I believe it's a good one -- and of a nice quality and water resistant (though I think it may says it's waterproof). It seems it can be used for just about anything.

I got these because I am a slob when washing dishes. Inevitably, when Im finished with washing dishes, I will look like I took a bath in the sink. Now, I wear these when I wash dishes. They are not waterproof. If you work at it, water will get thru, but it will take time. I hang them on the side of the fridge next to the sink and put one on whenever I wash dishes or cook. I just hang it back up when Im done. Dries fast. If I think it needs to be cleaned, I throw it in the washer. The ties at the waist will tangle with your other clothes in the washer and drier so I tie them in a bow to keep that from happening. I love these. And you cant beat the price.

Apron comes to my knees and I'm 6 feet tall so I appreciate that, but it isn't at all water resistant so I worry if it'll let anything thru to my clothes. Cheap price point still makes it worth the buy, I just don't appreciate the false advertisement about it being water resistant.

Fits great. Long enough, it goes to my knees, I'm 5'3. Very pleased with this purchase
