Helps with Nets of Prisms
I use these in my virtual math class and it really helps being able to show the net to these prisms. The plastic feels sturdy and the nets are holding up so far.

Great 3 D shapes
Great , one minor issue the nets were not incredibly sturdy.

Great learning tool for kids in a variety of age groups
The 12 shapes included are: hemisphere, sphere, cube, cuboid (aka…rectangular prism), triangular pyramid, square pyramid, cone, cylinder, triangular prism, square prism, pentagonal prism, regular hexagonal prism. For each 3D shape, the corresponding net is included so children can see what the flattened (2D) shape looks like too. Each cardboard net has fold lines to indicate where to fold it so you can create the 3D shape which then fits inside the clear, plastic 3D shape. These models help children understand geometric shapes and improves spatial thinking. The cardboard nets were easy to fold and place inside each plastic 3D shape except for the sphere & hemisphere which were a bit more challenging to make fit due to the greater number of folds needed. All of the other nets were easy to fold & fit inside their corresponding 3D shape. Each plastic shape has an indented place which indicates where to pull apart each plastic shape. The shapes were easy to pull apart and snap back together.A two-sided, full color instruction sheet is included with the shape set. Illustrations on the sheet show each of the 12 geometric shapes, the corresponding net, an outline of each 3D shape, shape name, formula for finding surface area of each shape, formula for finding volume for each shape. The box can be used for storage of the shapes because it has carved out spaces for each space. This shape set is perfect for both parents or teachers who want to teach children about 3D shapes.

Valuable Set of 12 3-D Shapes, 2-D Inserts, and Formulas, for Math or Art
I am taking an online drawing class and I needed some basic shapes to trace contour lines and learn about light and dark. I've always loved looking at geometric shapes, both in two and three dimensions. Yes, I am a math person. And would probably have given these to my children when they were growing up, if they had existed. A nice compact set. These shapes are very clever because one side opens or breaks in half in the case of the sphere. There are card stock two-dimensional shapes that you punch out, fold up on the scoring, and place inside the correct geometric shape. There's also a great, educational sheet showing each three-dimensional object, its two dimensional shape, and the formulas for volume and area with a geometric drawing. If you're going to be using that a lot, you should laminate it. The parts of the card stock that remain could also be used for tracing more 2-D shapes, if you wanted to rescue them and laminate them too. All in all, this is a really nice set, which can be used for math and art. A good value.

Nice, but some of the shapes are difficult to fold cleanly.
The outer 3D plastic shape is sturdy and easy to use. There is a cap that comes off of one side on each of the shapes. The net of the shape, the insert, is made of cardstock. The shapes come in perforated sheets with folding lines indented on it. Most shapes were easy to fold and fit well inside of the outer plastic shape. However a few were a bit more difficult to fold on the lines, but I was able to get them close enough. This is a tool that will be helpful for students in the classroom, but I will likely keep this as a teacher only tool as I do not think it will hold up to kids using this over time.
