Fantastic
This exceeded my expectations. I gave this to my grandson for Christmas and he absolutely loved it! I am looking at getting him another one of these from this company for a future gift. The virtual reality is excellent and the book is very well done. This is an excellent educational resource that I would definitely recommend.

Good item - slow shipping- damaged product
I think my history loving nephew will love this product (it is a Christmas gift). It was bigger than I expected. The box came damaged (ripped/torn corner).

Vr History
This was really cool. I think it could use just a little bit more educational information in it but it was a good value. It was easy to use. We used it with my android cell phone. It worked perfect. My grandkids had a lot of fun with it.

Nice history book with VR features, but additional hands on activities would have been nice
My 10-year-old son is very interested in history, and I thought this "Virtual Reality History!" would be a good addition to his homeschool history lessons. He says he likes it, and he spent quite a while looking at it when he first got it. But, I don't think he loves it, since he hasn't picked it up again without prompting.DK books like this one are usually good quality. The layout is a little busy, but has a lot of interesting information and illustrations. The app downloaded easily onto my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, and once it was set up my son was able to use it on his own to explore. We have several other VR sets by this brand, and I think this type of VR is a fun novelty but a little overrated. It gets old quick, and my son usually skips the glasses and just uses the AR features. If you select handheld mode only, it will show regular video content rather than the VR which requires the goggles.I like that a hands on activity was included, but the ship puzzle doesn't interest my son much and isn't something nice enough that we would keep for display. I think this would have been a better value if a better project or maybe even a few projects were included. At over $40 currently, it seems very expensive for a book with some VR features and a pretty basic puzzle. So, my son's happy, but I can't recommend it unless the price drops a bit more or you're not concerned with the cost.

Disappointed
The looking piece didn’t work, it just looks super blurry no matter how close or far you hold it up to your face. So it’s a great book don’t get me wrong, but there’s no appeal to it for my kid because there’s no WOW factor to it

Not as expected
I was so excited for this as it's such a neat idea, but it was a bit of a let down. It's more of a plastic viewfinder and you're just watching the short videos on your phone. It's not as immersive and detailed as I would have liked for the price.

Fantastic
What an absolutley fabulous book. My son loves history so just the book itself was fascinating. The Virtual reality was even better. Thia set cones with VR goggles. Your phone straps in securely. You will need to download the app. It was on apple and for Android. After it is loaded, you strap your phone into the goggles and place them over your head. The straps are adjustable. On the pages are symbols which activate the app and voilà you are seeing ancient Egypt, the Great Wall of China, ancient Persia. My son just loved looking around and seeing different scenes. I made sure he sat down as it can be dizzy ing at first when looking through the VR gogglesThere is a 3-D puzzle also in this package. It is rather flimsy though. The real draw is the great VR experience.
