I haven't had a chance to plug this into my Alienware M18 yet but it looks like it will be a solid spare charger for using when away from the usual one. I'll update this review if anything unexpected when I try using it.

This charger brick is half the size and weighs much less than the original. Also, I appreciate the lighting on the input rather than the one on the brick. The power specs match the original exactly. It’s worth mentioning that this brick does get warmer than the original. However, I’ve been using this for a while, and have not seen any issues whatsoever.If there is anything to nitpick, is that the matte black finish of the brick does pick up smudges and fingerprints, which is not a huge deal to me.I wish this form factor would have been included with my AW M18. There is an OEM option, but it is a lot more expensive, which makes this charger much easier to recommend.

For some reason Dell still insists on shipping their older 330w PSU models with some of their smaller laptops. I have a Dell G15 15.6" 13650HX/4050 laptop and it came with the ginormous older version of their 330w PSU. This is a ~14yr old design vs the much newer 330w design they ship with some of their other systems like the GaN 330w model which looks identical to the OEM smaller version used by Dell.It is physically smaller (as pictured) and weighs 1lb 8.6oz (~700g) compared to Dell's older design which is2lb 11.5oz (1232g). The physical size and reduction in weight is quite noticeable in a laptop bag.This compact version feels very solid and sturdy and has performed as advertised so far with my Dell G15.

This is the most powerful AC adapter that I have used. My laptop can charge and operate under load using this adapter. I cannot see the exact wattage I am drawing, but I can work while charging at a faster rate than my OEM adapter. The quality of this charger is backed up by its weight, which is the heaviest one I have ever used as well. It does weight down my bag, but it is worth it when I need the wattage to get the most out of my laptop.
