Fast external drive!
I gave it a bad review first, at least to the seller, because the pc could not assign it a drive letter, but it recognized it by giving that external drive sound. After formating it through disk management and assigning it a drive letter, it has been working since. It has instructions to go through device manager but it was useless. Seller needs to send instructions to resolve the drive letter issue through disk management. Now, it is fast!

Honestly, it's so handy. I use it all the time.
Very portable and super fast I love that I have this and I'm able to keep files between my laptop and the flash drive well not having to suffer Waiting a long time.

Speed is the name of the game
Wow this thing is amazing. I set up a lot of new computers for clients and transferring files has always been a pain until I bought this. Even on older computers, this thing is in the name of speed. I could not reccomend further.

Eh, 1350mbps write, 2700 read via tests but ONLY 350mbps via rsync on real files
Unlike some folks mine didn't get very hot. Using Blackmagic Disk Speed tests write's maxed out at 1350mbps, reads at 2700mbps. However my large file transfers with rsync only reaching 350mbps, still trying to figure out why, not using any cpu intensive options but not going to blame it on the ssd either. This could also be why mine doesn't get hot :-/. (APFS formatted, connected with their new thunderbolt 3 cable to my new-ish 2023 M2 MacBook Pro, a USB 4 port 'capable of 40Gbps'). It is small but my 5 year old G-technologies ssd of the same capacity is quite a bit thinner!UPDATE: bought a competing SSD for half the price, it's 1/3rd the size and nearly as fast, I'd return this one if I hadn't spent the time to make it into a full backup.

Best TB3/4 Drive Available
Best on the market. I've got the top-of-the-line acasis and anyoyo TB3/4 NVME external enclosures and this achieves ~96% of the speeds with a much more convenient form factor. It's faster than a base M4 mac mini's internal storage full stop and holds its own with an M4 Max Macbook Pro.

I never realized how slow my external SSD was until I got this
On a Mac Book Pro with thunderbolt 3/4 this drive is similar in speed of the internal Mac drive. This is great for editing in Davinci Resolve, On1, Luminar Neo, etc. The external SSD I had been using on my PC is connects usb-c but must be an older USB protocol which is super slow when compared to 40MBS thunderbolt drive. Comes with Thunderbolt cables not all USB-C cables will work correctly. When using the wrong cable drive may connect as 5mbs device rather than 40mbs.I'm happy with it, since you can't upgrade a MAC's internal HD, one or two of these is likely a requirement. Best thing by far is it's speed.
