Great freestanding pullup bar.
Great pull up bar. I'm 6 foot tall and I can do pullups without touching the ground. I like the multiple grips. The dips are not possible yet. I will do them every day now that they are so convenient. Pull the pins and it folds down pretty flat. Great value for the price. Very sturdy, I only weigh 165 lbs. Well built, easy to assemble.

Strong, Stable, Tall and reasonably Portable
Me....5ft 10in tall, 190 pounds. I rarely submit reviews but I'm so happy with my Dobests portable pull up bar. Product arrived intact with no damage and every part accounted for. Its easy to assemble and 2 wrenches are included. At the tallest setting I DO NOT have to bend my legs at all but then again I'm only 5' 10" tall. This is rare for this type of self standing, portable pull up bar. Its very stable but I would not attempt any muscle ups. The Dipping Bars are strong and easily holds my weight. I do wish they were spaced a little closer together to prevent shoulder injuries when doing pushups and dips but I have narrow shoulders. A taller person with wider shoulders should have no problems. One thing I hope Dobests remedies in the future is the actual pullup bar. They are a tiny bit too narrow for me and I have small to medium sized hands. Making them a tad uncomfortable but easily remedied by wearing gloves or somehow increasing the diameter of the bar. Note...this is only a problem when using a close grip when doing pullups. Its no problem when you you use a wider grip because the thicker red handles that come with the unit are very comfortable. Portability is fine but its nothing you can easily break down store in your car's trunk and take to the beach or park like say the Go Beast. I keep mine outside covered with a water proof cover for protection from light rain, morning dew and fog. When heavy rains are forecast I break it down into 2 sections and bring it indoors. I highly recommend this unit. In my humble opinion one of the best unit of its kind.

The perfect multi-functional, portable pull up station
Anyone who works out somewhere besides a gym knows the most difficult body part to hit is back. Thereâs never anywhere to do pull ups without risking breaking a doorâs molding. I work in the oilfield and have an adjustable bench, some adjustable 90 lb dumbbells, and an EZ-curl bar with weights. You can hit a lot of exercises with just that, but the gaping hole in the routine is nowhere to do back. This station is PERFECT.The station is soo stable. Iâm a 180 lb man and I can do explosive pull ups and this piece of equipment doesnât budge. I am able to do hanging crunches, it just helps if you have something stabilizing your back like a tight rope across the frame. This station is not extremely heavy, but itâs high quality, sturdy. If it were lighter weight, I might question its integrity. Itâs the perfect weight for me as I can easily put it in the bed of my truck and fold it up every 2 weeks when I go home. The value for the moneyâŚ.I canât say enough about it. Iâve bought pull up bar set ups that require a door with strong molding that are as expensive as this entire station. It is probably the best bang for buck of all the gym equipment I have, and it solves a problem that seemed unsolvable. The dip handles are just an added bonus. Doing dips outside of a gym has always been another issue that this product solves. I had just given up on dips because buying equipment just to do dips is not a good use of truck bed space.

Excellent, with one problem
I am very happy with this pull-up station. It is both sturdy and lightweight, in the sense of being easy to move around. There is no central horizontal bar, so you can easily walk through it.FYI -- I had planned to assemble it myself, but then I decided to ask my handyman. I am glad I did. He is very experienced and has tools. It took him 90 minutes of steady work. He had some complaints about the instructions being incomplete. Doing it myself would have taken much longer.I have a complaint, or is it a confusion, about the hand grips on the back of the top bar. There are 3 pairs of grips on the station. There are two pairs on the front of station; they are red, and they hold fast. There is a single pair on the back, and they are black. This is my favorite place to hold on. But the grips are not fixed. They spin as I add weight. Is this the design??? Shouldn't they hold fast, like the red grips?

Awesome home gym
You can do a dozen different exercises on this machine. It takes 3 mins to fold it up and put away so it's perfect for someone in an apartment like me. It's very sturdy I'm 200lbs and feel totally stable with it holding my weight. My buddy is about 270 and it was stable holding his weight too. Its well worth the $110 I paid for it

Very sturdy and solid home workout station
I am happy with this product for the price. I put it together within an hour and only needed my husband's help to tighten everything up. I've only had it for about a week, tested it for different calisthenics exercises, and was pleased with all I can do. It is heavy. Still, I can move it around, release the safety pins, fold and put it to the side once I am done with my routine, allowing me to save space when not using it. This was one of the main reasons I went for this model, and I don't regret it. Now, it is true, as another reviewer mentioned, that the packaging could be improved and made more secure. I received everything in order, but the nuts, washers, and bolts were loose. Although everything was in the box and nothing was damaged. With continued use, the red handle protectors are relatively thin and will not last too long. But those are easy enough to reinforce or replace. So, I don't count it as an issue, especially given the price.

Nice system but some safety concerns
Assembly was relatively quick. It could really use 2 hands to make it easier but I did it by myself working in no big hurry in about 90 minutes. The steel feels a little thin but once assembled it more than easily feels strong enough for my workouts. I tried a kipping pullup on it and it didn't wobble. I will add some sandbags just to give it some more cheap stability. My biggest complaint is about the safety detent pins...it doesn't take very much effort to push them out of position. I will end up replacing all my pins with aftermarket snap pins, because I don't think the ones it comes with feel secure. on mine gravity alone could move some pins out of place.
