Q: Is there a trick to folding the 4-step ladder? It is really stuck. I am unable to dislodge the top step.

I usually either put my foot on the first step or lean the front of the ladder towards me as I pull up on the back of the top step. I hope that helps. If it doesn't I would recommend contacting the seller.

Q: How easy is it to open?

Very easy to open- clicking it into place once open requires a little push. My 87 year old grandmother can handle it -so not too hard.

Q: Are the steps of the ladder slippery?

The steps of the ladder have to do with professional non-slip design, not slippery at all, very secure.

Q: Will the handle scratch the wall when the ladder is placed against the wall?

No. The feet of the ladder will hit the baseboards first. Plus, the entire handle is covered in foam.
