Blanket Resolve

Having used Cloverleaf blanket answer for three seasons with great success, early this spring it simply stopped working leaving a literal plague of unwanted algae in its wake within a matter of weeks. On the advice of a friend I purchased the Aqua Source last month and thus far it's been a revelation! Like most anti-algae solutions it is completely free of algaecides, ammonium compounds etc, it's harmless to wildlife and plants and safe to use with filter bacteria, BUT the big difference between this and other leading brands is that it remains effective at lower pond temperatures & has a different modus-operandi, namely - it lowers phosphates in the pond (algae's favourite food) and ergo there is little chance of the algae becoming resistant to treatment as they rely on the Phosphate to grow in the 1st place!One early March treatment (where pond temperature was barely above 10c) and within a week the water is crystal clear and the sides are starting to clear of algae. With performance such as this it's impossible not to award a full 5 stars across the board & the 1Kg tub purchased should last at least 3 or 4 seasons so not bad either on the value stakes. Highly recommended!!

Great stuff, works perfectly and much better than the other famous product I've been using for years.I used to have big problems, especially with the pump clogging up, but now I'm using 'Aqua Resolve' I have No problems at all !I use dose my (overstocked but well filered) Koi pond as soon as I see a bit of growth and it stays Crystal clear and Blanketweed free, all year roundGreat productHighly recommended

I have used Aqua resolve for a number of years now. It is not perfect and is quite expensive, but is the best on the market in my experience, having tried several products. It works better in warmer water. I get one each year for my two wildlife ponds.

Having had problems over recent years with blanket weed I have tried several different types of products all claiming to work. Some of these were expensive failures.Having looked at the reviews I thought I would give this a go. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Having removed as much of the weed as possible by hand I then treated the pond following the instructions provided. Within 5 days the blanket weed showed signs of disappearing even in the recent heatwave. 10 days after initial treatment and most of the weed around the pond had gone and what was left was visibly deteriorating. Have given the pond it’s second treatment after 10 days and will continue with treatment as instructed over the coming weeks.I don’t normally give reviews but on the occasion I feel it important that I can recommend this to other frustrated pond lovers. Give it a go I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

it will hopefully help to clear my blanket weed in my fish pond and it seems very easy to use but i have only put in one dose so it is hard to say whether it is a good product

Use as per instructions,it is not totally benign. I build ponds for a living,have used many treatments and recommended erring on the side of caution with this (or any product initially) to check its suitablity fir your particular requirements. Killed fry and some immature fish in my pond.

Just used the once on first dose so need to keep using to determine how effective it is. First effects seem OK.

This product works very well.Over the years I’ve suffered terrible blockages in my pumps and filters with blanket weed nothing seemed to work, until I started usingThis one ,IT REALLY WORKED and worked fast I recommend it .
