Great amp
Bought this amp to power my new Triangle Br03 speakers. I decided to upgrade from my Q Acoustics M20 powered speakers, which I was using for my TV. For a small amp in size, it is quite powerful (60 watts per channel at 8 ohms), giving a full, rich balanced sound. It also has an app which has excellent features and loads of settings. You have things like BASS management, which is useful if you use a woofer as I do. Most amps don't have this feature. It feels well-built and is quite heavy giving its size (could be because it has large heat sinks for cooling). It comes with a remote which feels and looks quality. And the remote is Bluetooth, which makes life even easier. Great bit of kit, oh, and it has Dolby sound also. And yes it is also a streamer.

How can the WiiM sound this good and cost so little!
I can’t fault this music streamer/DAC/Amplifier. I have hi-fi separates costing thousands of pounds and this amazing player has effectively replaced them all - and in a small one box package. Does it sound as good? Pretty much. It is being helped by some expensive high end Diapason speakers, admittedly. But even so….The setup was really easy using the superb WiiM Home app. This includes ability to tune the EQ to the listening room automatically, which was very quick and worked perfectly. The WiiM includes just about every streaming service you could imagine. Streaming Tidal high resolution audio, I find the sound to be open without being harsh. There is a good balance between all the musical elements, with tight bass control. I tried inserting my beloved Chord Mojo 2 DAC via its Poly wifi add-on. This sounded different - good, but not necessarily better than the DAC in the WiiM. Unbelievable value for money. Highly recommended.

Good Kit
We already had a Wiim Pro Plus bought a couple of weeks prior to this one . This other Wiim amp was to replace an old traditional amplifier which had failed in another system we have .We had a problem when setting up as the app was saying the network name was not the same as the amp ( or something ! ? ) . It all got very confusing so I chickened out and sent it back as I didn't feel we had the technical ability to sort it it out although I'm sure someone more into the technology could have done .I'm sure that this item is fine though as we are very impressed with the Pro Plus which is just the streamer without the amp .I went back on to the Amazon site and ordered a more traditional Sony amplifier ( you might even call it old fashioned in some ways ! ) which arrived and this went into our secondary back up system and is fine , I can understand that one !

Just Excellent !
Purchased as I was downsizing my setup, I previously had tested the WiiM Amp (non pro) which was also excellent, however the improvements made (PFFB) has made a large difference! Currently paired with Bowers & Wilkins 606 S2 Standmount speakers and a Bowers & Wilkins ASW610 Subwoofer. With sub out enabled using crossover you can filter out the Low’s from the main speakers and let the sub deal with the low’s to reduce strain on the amp.At medium volume with a room corrected EQ and the sub disabled, the amp seems to be providing enough power to the stand mounts which is amazing!I previously had them connected to a Pioneer SC-LX76 which had around 170w RMS per Channel which can drive them to some extremely uncomfortable levels, however for medium volumes this WiiM Amp Pro is absolutely incredible especially considering the size. For a much smaller footprint I couldn’t be happier with this amp and the Alexa integration is absolutely amazing, as I already have echo’s all over the house and has slotted into my already established Amazon Alexa setup very nicely !

Incredible!
This all in one, life changing box is amazing! It plays like way more expensive amplifier then it is. To beat it You need to invest 3-4 times more money. I am not even mentioning how amazing connectivity it has with everything(computer, TV, smartphone, Alexa itp.) App is amazing too! People buy it! If You don't have money for anything worth more then 1000 pounds, spend it on Wiim amp pro! Running on them monitor audio silver floor standing speakers. They sound incredible!

Great to have a all in one unit
This not only looks the part but but has reduced the amount of plugs and wires to run separates, I believe the in built DAC is as good as any other, dacs are a solved problem as far as I'm concerned ( read transparent to the source). Plenty powerful enough for me and the ability to eq and control my subwoofer from the app including crossover is one of the main reasons I bought it. Good app and support as well. The room correction did not really work for me as probably my phone mic not up to the task, there are calibrated mics that plug into your phone but they are a bit pricey. Anyway with eqing I got the sound I like.

Sound is okay, but delay on the audio
I bought this unit because it would allow me to stream to it as well as have my computer and DJ mixer plugged into it. Initial impressions were that it worked well, the sound was fine (although didn't blow me away even with room correction and it really neutered my sub so had to change some of the EQ settings), and i liked the fact it was a DAC and amp and streamer all in one. I had my PC connected via spdif and my mixer via RCA.I had noticed some slight mismatch on the audio from games but that was livable and can be tweaked in windows.Unfortunately the issue presented itself when I went to have a mix, now I am no Tiesto, I enjoy mixing at home but the audio sounded off. It was only after a couple of songs I noticed there was a delay in the audio coming out of my speakers. This seems to be an issue that in on the WiiM forums but there is nothing that has been done about it, so have had to send it back.It would have also been nice to be able to output to multiple audio destinations at the same time, as this unit does not contain a headphone socket, so I was using an external headphone amp over USB. I couldn't select output via speakers and headphones at the same time. It is a niche request but would have been nice.
