I love this Ting! It gives me peace of mind in knowing my home won't have an electrical fire. Our home is nearly 50 years old and this checks the entire electrical network running through our home. It also gives weather alerts of potential danger. Electrical problems arcing, etc...don't happen overnight, they build up to it. And you never know you have a problem until it's too late. So for this small price, you may just save your families lives. Highly recommend!

So far I've been very pleased with this monitor!!! Super easy to set up and install. You always hear about house fires from faulty electrical devices/wiring but I never knew I could do anything about it except install smoke alarms and cross my fingers. I feel like this greatly decreases that risk as it is a constantly monitor for potential problems. What a fantastic invention!! I bought one for my friend as a birthday present and she loves it too!!!!

This provides a lot of insight into your electrical system and is great peace of mind. I was very impressed with it and recommended it to my father, he's purchased one also. The app works very well also.

I got this because I live in a place that has a crawl space filled with exposed Romex, and I am always worried about the "mouse eat wire" syndrome. Performance has been good. In my area, we experience frequent power outages and this will report them immediately, no matter where I am. The bonus is that they also tell you how many other Ting customers are experiencing the same outage, so I can gauge how big the outage is.The cost of this item and the service is very low in terms of the peace-of-mind it offers. I recommend this.

Having experienced an electrical issue recently, I felt compelled to find a way to prevent or alert me if there was another issue in the future. Reading Ting’s product description it seemed as if I found a solution.That was until I smelled what appeared to be a hot electrical smell. After locating the issue, which was a loose wire on an outlet, I shut off the breaker and isolated the outlet. (See photo).I was surprised that an issue such as this, arcing, did not show anything on the Ting software. I contacted Ting who stated they would review my data. Unfortunately they found nothing.All this leaves me wondering, why buy this if it does not have the ability to pick up what was very nearly a fire. It’s nothing I would recommend nor would I have any faith in it keeping you safe.

Incredible fast and easy setup. Takes a few days to set a baseline. Hoping I never get an alert!!
