Had issues where my pin just stopped connecting and my desktop app stopped syncing to the cloud. Support helped me to troubleshoot and they ended up both replacing my pin and sending me a new version of the desktop app. Customer service is excellent! They were responsive, polite, kind, understanding, helpful, and fast. Highly recommend! And, the app has been extremely useful for me with recording and summarizing anything from Dr's appointments to meetings to classes. It captures the summaries and to do items quite well and the templates for generating summaries are vast. Great product and high quality support!

I’m very happy with this recorder. I use it for so many things throughout the day. It’s very sensitive at picking up voices and filtering background noise. Once the recording is complete, open the app on your phone, and it transfers over automatically. If it’s a particularly large file, you can opt for a fast transfer which takes only seconds. Once your recording is transferred to your device, you can listen to it immediately or choose to transcribe.Their customer service is top notch. I had a problem that turned out to be user error (the charger was upside down 🤦🏻‍♀️) and they were amazing. Quick response, kind, and helpful.It would be great if they offered the watchband in black.100% recommend. It’s an amazing value.

Update: Update: changed rating based on customer support stepping up. Plaud customer support responded and is sending out a new device. They explained how to upload all previous data so I do not lose it. I will have new device in one day. Took a bit of time, but they came through and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and I appreciated that and the way they are handling my issue.I gave it only two stars instead of only 1 because it did last a couple of months. I should have read the low star reviews before buying this. The Plaud device stopped connecting to the app on my phone. I tied everything that they said for almost 2 days. Customer support kept telling me to do the same things over and over and over again. I had my tech department at work try to do it. They also followed all the instructions that the AI support gave us. Watchedb YouTube videos. Nothing. Throwing it away. Now I'm back to searching for a decent AI recorder /transcriber sadly. Any recommendations? Please share

To get maximum functionality (meaning having more minutes of transcription) you do hav to purchase a monthly or annual plan. However, I started with free plan, then base level, then unlimited.It is useful in so many ways. Two coworkers, including my boss purchased one, great for a CEO wanting to brain dump for an EA. My college student got one for discreetly and easily taking voice notes in class. My husband also got one.Operates similar to AI note takers for video meetings. You get a transcript, a recording, and then a summary. You can choose different summary styles, like action items, conversation, and what not.I use the Note Pin, but can see where this would be great for filling a team in on calls without having to repeat yourself.
