Our 75lb boxer doesn't agree he should be crated and is incredibly determined to get out. Has destroyed one of those sturdy plastic crates and one of the standard wire crates (plus two comforters, 3 pairs of shoes, a throw pillow, a set of bathmats, $200 worth of study materials, several dog beds...he's a chewer). This crate looked strong enough to contain him. I was able to set it up by myself in about 20 minutes (I left the wheels off), and I'm a 40 year old woman.As others mentioned, the weak spot is the latches. The top only has one latch, so it's the most vulnerable spot. If you have an escape artist, don't let them see that the top opens!! We made that mistake, and ours went after the top, bent the latch and hinges and got out (chewed the treat canister to bits and ate the contents.) Tried adding chain and (admittedly small) padlocks, he popped the padlocks open.I contacted the seller and showed them the pictures, and they sent a brand new crate, which arrived in 3 days. I immediately added chain and thick carabiner clips around the top of the frame just in case. So far, no problems. The bars are super sturdy, and with the top reinforced, he's pretty much given up his escape attempts. The house is safer, and he's safer.
