Really happy with these and will continue to buy them as long as the price is right. I originally purchased a 14MERV filter for my house, but the price differential was significant and I got some advice from a trusted source in HVAC that the higher MERV ratings can actually make your air handler units work harder since the finer medium can reduce airflow, particularly in the cheaper models.I've been using these 12 MERV charcoal filters to remove odors from the air and changing them every 6 months. I suspect I could get up to a year out of one, but at $30 per filter, changing them every half year is just $5/month and that's OK by me. I've seen prices fluctuate wildly on these so I try to stock up whenever they dip and stash away a year's worth at a time. Well worth it, no complaints and will keep buying more in the future!

Works very well. We live in the could country and have to deal with a lot of pollen and dust.
