Haven't used a razor for more than 15 years, but this shaver is more comfortable and almost as close
Not 5-stars because this model does not have the 'pop-up trimmer' but instead has a separate trimmer head that needs to be manually swapped for each use. But definitely comfortable, close, easy shaving! : )I had a previous Braun Series 3 380s that I bought in Dec-2014, and the battery died after 6 and a half years use, so not too bad for GBP50. Before that I had two Philips shavers, but I now prefer the Braun for comfort and price.I decided to buy again the Braun Series 3 because it's a good, comfortable, trusted shaver.Pros- Much closer and easier shaver – whether the shaving head is somehow better (better materials or manufacturing?) but for sure I’ll be replacing the shaving head more regularly- This newer model has is slightly lighter and slightly quieter than my old one, even with the same form factor- ncludes beard trimmer heads (what I wanted).trimmer heads- European-style plug (useful for me)- Price- Comfort – it really is a close and comfortable shave.Cons- This particular model does not included pop-up trimmer head.- The power cord is similar to a USB style charger, but unfortunately does NOT have USB plug – It would be convenient if the shaver did -- note to Braun! So, overall, almost 5-stars, and recommeded

Maybe the best value in the Braun lineup
The Shavercheck website recommend either this model, or to go for the series 8 or 9. I find it to be very good. It gives me a nice close shave. It takes longer to shave with than a wet shave with a disposable razor, but I get a closer shave with it as it's cuts against the grain without irritating my skin. I prefer it.

Replacement
It's a razor with a good cutter blade.

Great shave
Would usually buy a Remmington. But this feels good and is easy to use. Gives an equally smooth shave.

Would not recommend or repurchase
It gave my boyfriend lots of tiny cuts. He was overdue a replacement for his old razor and I got him this based on Amazon reviews, unfortunately I kept noticing cuts on his face which he never had an issue with before, he tried what he could to avoid getting them but they kept coming up, I felt terrible for him he as obviously trying to grin and bare it as it was a gift, I eventually had to tell him to stop using it . So overall not a good product.

Decent clipper, poor shaver
Mainly got this for the clippers rather than the foil. I mostly wanted something small. washable and rechargeable to prep my head and sideburns before shaving when I leave it a bit too long. The foil head was just a bonus... or not.The clippers are fine and do the job, though the head is a bit small, so it can take a while. The foil head is atrocious though. It pulls hairs and doesn't cut them short without repeatedly going over an area way too many times than needed. Complete waste of time.It also says it's a "2 pin" and doesn't make it clear if this is a 2-pin shaver/toothbrush plug or an EU plug. To perhaps save you a second order, it's a 2 pin EU plug. NOT a shaver plug. (As is shown to me as "Frequently bought together")
