Crank Brothers Candy 7 MTB Bike Pedals Pair with Premium Cleats and Shoe Shields Set for Traction

I have a love/hate relationship with my candies. I love them because the 4 way lock in is great on trails, cyclocross- all my off road riding- easy in/out and the platform is nice but not too much- HOWEVER...it’s a good thing I love them because the bearings have stripped out on two different pairs, making me hesitant to keep buying them - or at least keeping me from buying the more expensive ones. I do love them though and they have served me well...I have to note when my right pedal broke free in a race....many people who passed me took one look and knew they were candies- making me wonder if this is a common problem. Anyways- you get to make that judgement call for yourself- when they don’t strip off, they work great.

I bought these for my gravel bike and have been using them now since receiving them. They replaced the eggbeaters that I had been using and have been functioning flawlessly. I like the ease of clipping in and out, the float provided, and now the bit more platform that the candies provide over the eggbeater's. In gravel, this is important for long days in the saddle and when having to quickly remount the bike and pedal sometimes even before being able to reconnect with the pedal. I would recommend and I will buy again.

Have used the standard Shimano clipless pedals in the past and they were just too restrictive and difficult to exit during a panic stop. I really love the Crank Brothers, enough float so your foot doesn't feel clamped in and e easy to exit with the right cleat exiting easier than the left by design. A great set of pedals.

I got these a few months ago. Been using on my commute bike. Will use on my normal road bike next spring and in June for AIDS/Lifecycle. Easy to clip in and out. Recommend

Bought these to replace a very old set of eggbeater pedals. These work great and we’re exactly what I was looking for.Having the little bit of extra pedal has been nice.

Awesome pedals and great company

I have used shimano cleats (wish work well...no problems with those)....but recently been using HT cleats. they were ok, but getting out was difficult somewhat. so i swtiched to crankbrothers, Candy7. these are awesome. very easy to get in and out. I have them set to 15 deg...but i may switch them to 20deg . Candy 2/3 will perform just as good...just the 7's are a little ligther and a better design bearing.
