Rapesco 1486 500 Heavy Duty Tape Dispenser with 2 Tape Rolls, White

After struggling through the last 20 years or so ripping tape off with my teeth and sticking it to the side of any available chair, ironing board, table top etc, I decided that enough was enough. Although I was aware of the existence of sellotape dispensers, part of me really felt that they only belonged in schools, offices or shops. Surely there was no place in my home for such an extravagance? Sure, I've had the mini versions, but they do require a two handed operation, which isn't ideal when your trying to wrap the world most awkwardly shaped present. Anyway, as previously stated, enough was enough and things needed to change. I ordered this model as it looked the part, and the reviews were good. After taking delivery, I wasn't disappointed at all. It's a lovely weighty item and supports the one handed operation with ease. The quality of the item is excellent, plus it really does look the part. Sleek design and clean lines, what more do you want? I really couldn't be without it now, I'm actually a bit annoyed that I didn't purchase this sooner. All I can say is that if you're thinking of taking the plunge, do it now and don't hold back. You won't regret it!

If, like me, you send small parcels in the mail on a regular basis, this is a quick and easy to use tape dispenser. It is suitable for 25mm wide sticky tape on a large roll, and has a sharp serrated cutter, so mind your fingers! It's heavier than the old bakelite one I'd had for several years, (which broke when it accidentally fell on a tiled floor recently!) and serves as a perfect replacement. Don't drop this on your toes - it's very heavy! Very handy at Christmas when wrapping lots of parcels.

Rapesco make good dispensers and this is sturdy and easy to use. The "free" tape is rubbish - hard to start and thin so it breaks easily. Buy Sellotape instead.

A little more than I would normally pay for a tape dispenser however it is very heavy and sturdy and works great. Very happy

To clear up what this does as, unfortunately, the sellers réponses are not brilliant to the questions asked.This dispenser does both of the large and small diameter spool commonly found in UK shops. The dispenser wheel is in two pieces with the centre being removable for the small tape rolls. The small centre is tapered to fit the roll or to fit inside the larger wheel is also tapered for the larger diameter rolls so be careful when installing. The maximum width of rolls is 25mm.The base is heavy enough to sit on the desk and easily get tape one handed. I use it with a large diameter of masking tape and is easy to rip if you give it a quick tug. (Oh Mrs!).The tape wheels themselves are black plastic so should be treated with care when installing or removing the tape wheel, in a nut shell don’t force it in or roughly yank it out. (Madam!!).The supplied tape is fine. If you want stickier tape, get your hand in your pocket and try some branded stuff until you find one you like. What do you want for less than a tenner?Al in all a decent dispenser for the price. After all is tape dispenser envy a thing?

Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar!!!!Sehr stabil, ausreichende Schwere und scharfe Abrisskanten. Inzwischen habe ich bereits vier von den Abrollern gekauft. Den ersten für mich privat. Den zweiten für meine Abteilung im Geschäft und zwei weitere für andere Abteilungen weil jeder den Abroller genial findet und das zu so einem geringen Preis.Da kann man auch leicht darüber hinweg sehen, dass die mit gelieferten Klebebandrollen nicht wirklich gut sind.Der Klebebandroller selbst ist 10 Sterne wert!
