I bought one for my sister & she has had a week to try it out. She does not have Carpal Tunnel but over a year ago she fractured her thumb joint right where it connects to her hand & has had excruciating, crying all night, white knuckled pain just moving her thumb...long past the point when the doctor says it is healed & she should be pain free aside from (minor arthritis).She was given a clumsy stiff metal filled brace that she has given herself facial bruises behind and is actually more painful to wear & causes it to swell even more.As an artist attempting to hold onto a paint brush, or coffee, gently squeezing the toothpaste, or any number of daily activities that involve gripping grabbing squeezing lifting... Being in the middle of a 2 year long, one room at a time, house repair with a hand that can't tolerate bumping & a joint that is still 3x the size of the others has been beyond challenging.I had spent several weeks online researching styles of compression sleeves & had almost given up finding one that had this style of thumb support without being an actual glove, 100's of images in google but non-functional links so I was delighted to find these on amazon although wary of what we might receive by way of quality.OMG the first night she actually slept the night through & the week of wearing it most of the time has given her 70 to 80% reduced pain. the compression is perfect, her swelling is way down & there is no bulk to get in the way, she says it keeps her joints warm enough without making her hand sweat.We are both so thrilled with the results I just ordered 3 more... my daughter, who has similar issues from an old hand to wrist injury & as a bookkeeper can't really wear a brace while typing, will get one of these to try.Edit 6/29/17: 3rd purchase- Ordered 3 more, gave 2 away as gifts & kept one for myself -Still impressed with the quality & I have referred several friends with similar hand, tendon, nerve & arthritis issues.My sister is elbow deep in dirt & gardening these days so she hand washes these & rotates them... Keeping one nice one in the box for dressier occasions & these are close fitting so she can still wear bracelets & not feel too conspicuous.My daughter is equally pleased with these & really appreciates not having to wear the stiff braces that are so restrictive.

I bought the Neo G wrist and thumb support as soon as I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my thumb and wrist joint..I wanted a support band where my thumb and wrist were covered and it would also compress the area to some extent..This is the fourth one I am purchasing from AMAZON because with constant wear( I wear it to work everyday) and washing , it gets loose but can still be worn..it is usually very snug when it is new and this works for me..it helps to keep the joint wrapped tightly as it can be painful at times…I have not seen any others like this .. any others I have tried have not given me the fit or feel that I require so I will keep purchasing this item.. My only con is the material it is made from should not loose its tight fit even after washing or constant daily wear.. I took photos showing the other two wrist support along with the one I am presently using..The logo comes off sometimes when washed..

Just to be clear, The product is the least tightest at the wrist and more tight near the space where the thumb and hand meet and the area above the wrist. Not sure if its just with the one I received but I thought someone should know before reading the rest of my review. Its just as a precaution. This may explain the reason behind my type of review. This is not a biased review. Its just my experience with the product. You may want more support. This does not "squeeze" the wrist in comparison to the tightness of other regions on this product.Very useful. I bought this and when It arrived, It looked too small like "I can't fit this!" small, but when I put this on, it fit just right! Its a stretch-fit. Just measure your wrist, pick what corresponds with your measurements and you should be fine. You can alternate hands and you will not feel the difference! It has versatility. Gives you a great amount of support. I cut my thumb on the side of it by accident. The bone stopped the blade from cutting it off. It healed but the nerves will never be the same. Clearly an accident! It slipped! The main reason I wear this is to help with the pens and needles I feel when I press too hard with it or hit the tip of the thumb. I sprain my wrist sometimes and its excellent for that too! Didn't think it would help for these issues I have but it did just that. Its a great product in my opinion.As for usage, your can wear a glove over top of this. If you have work gloves or its wintertime and you need to use this- No problem! This thing is like a second skin. Its so close to your hand and wrist that it will be contour enough to fit most if not all the gloves you wear. Its not bulky or uncomfortable.Pros: Gives support where you need it, Allows free range of movement for fingers. Allows your wrist to breath.Cons: In the dead-of-heat, you will still sweat with this on. Tight, snug fit may get uncomfortable after a while. Even though its in your size, may still be a tight fit and may become an annoyance rather than a relief.This isn't a bad product, its great! It all boils down to personal preference and whether or not you want something like this.
