This device was the perfect solution. The audio quality is decent
My head phone port is no longer functioning and the monitors headphone jack is in an awkward spot. This device was the perfect solution. The audio quality is decent. As good or better as the on board audio from your pc. It also has volume control buttons right on the unit itself. It is also truly plug n play. Windows 7 picked it up with no trouble. It does stick out a bit if you connect it to the front of your pc. Sticks right out like a flash drive would. If system is on the floor be careful not to bump into it. An extension cable would have been useful. In addition when the item arrived the seller included a note with a web address to download some optional audio software. The link however didn't work and the seller never replied to me about the matter. But I stress that the software is in noway necessary for the item to function.

Cheap price, great device.
This device is just what I needed to give my old computer tower new life. The 3.5mm jack has been degrading consistently over time, and now it doesn't work at all for our speakers. Then I found this 3.5mm to USB adapter, and I thought "this is it!" I received the device in a reasonable amount of time, plugged it in straight away, an viola...we have sound again to this tower. I am very pleased and will recommend this.

Excellent replacement for a bad sound card.
This was a perfect replacement for a laptop I was repairing which had a bad sound card.

Pretty good
I use this item to connect my amplifier to my lap top for when I mix music with my mixer. The only con I can think of is that it is delicate and sits loose when it is plugged in to the USB.. so just be careful because it is sorta fragile. Other than that it's good, I'd buy again for sure.

Sound for Less
Have a few old retired "BLADE" servers to play with in my lab. Who puts sound cards and a server? With this I loaded an OS and ran with it, easy and cost effective.

lousy sound
not many words other than hated it. my sound card went out on my lenovo laptop, but I ended up using my Rig 3 for a sound card since it's 24/96 any way for a pro sound.

Works surprisingly well with the BM-800 mic !
Having purchased a Condenser Mic for some home videos and other audio recording I found the XLR to 35mm jack when plugged into our iMac would not pick up any signal from the mic, my guess in the iMac does not deliver any power to the mic. This would mean I need to purchase a Phantom Power unit and then a another XLR in to XLR out cable. Rather than this I opted for the cheaper solution (all be not the best). The USB device provides 5V to the mic and adjusting the gain on the iMac this does the job to drive the mic.Actually for the price of this USB sound card I quite impressed with the recording quality, this will tide me over until I can get a XLR audio unit such as a Behringer UMC22 or the like.

Fine, does exactly what it needs to
I bought this as it can be plugged easily into a USB port. My Mom had some old speakers which have great quality but only old school jacks which her new PC didn't come with. These work great and there's even an additional volume control on the USB itself which can be used to lower/increase the sound before delivery to the speaker system.

tends to come loose when using external gear with it, ie headphones or mic
Does the job so long as you support the cables of the devices being used, when my headphones were plugged in the weight of the cable was too much to hold the device in the usb port steady so had to support the cable, have replaced this with aone that has a cable, much better

Forget it, it's useless!
Worst earache ever! Only left channel worked and produced more tinniness a ton of tinned tuna. Volume control did nothing, probably the nastiest piece of cheap manufacturing on sale today. The packaging was ok though - one of the legs on my desk was a bit wobbly and this solved the problem. I'll probably use the device as a door stop, certainly won't be using it for the intended purpose. It's not even worth returning.

Decent for the price, with a few buts...
This product for £4.50 is what you'd expect. The usb is stiff when going into your slots and may damage them aswell as having a large plastic case. When you plug your headphones in the sound has a hiss in the background. But the controls such as the mute buttons make it a handy little tool. Unfortunately this doesn't work like a sabrent USB card for any of you wondering. If you have an xlr mic connected to phantom power and then the phantom power connected to this soundcard it unfortunately won't read. But if you want a handy little tool to easily mute your mic on a call etc I'd recommend for the price as long as you expect what you get for the money.
