A few months ago I moved from LA to Chicago and had a bunch of picture frames plus a mirror that I needed to pack so they could go on a truck and then into storage. If you have a frame or mirror that is a lot bigger than the folded dimension, these might not hold up as well because the cardboard towards the middle won't be as sturdy or thick, but it's a great way to pack 3-4 smaller frames vertically, next to each other. Bubble-wrap each frame and then fold an additional piece of cardboard (like a flattened moving box) over the whole thing and tape it up. It's not really how it was designed to be used, but it definitely helped me out. I do feel like it's a little overpriced, but then again it saved me from having to replace easily $100+ worth of frames. And I know it's sturdy because a few of my other moving boxes got banged around quite a bit and this totally held up. I was also able to reuse one side of it to store drawing paper and posters.

These boxes are extremely cool. You can use 1 set to enclose a smaller mirror/picture, or 2 to get an EXACT, snug fit on a larger one. The mirror I just wrapped is an odd shaped, vintage, expensive mirror with details I didn’t want chipped or broken. I LOVED that I could use 2 sets to get the PERFECT sized box that I otherwise could not buy. The mirror is not loose in there whatsoever. My mirror is really, really heavy, and the extra thickness of the cardboard is very helpful. The whole package feels really thick and sturdy. It’s awesome. I have some peace of mind with my upcoming move.I don’t think some of the other reviewers understood the value of being able to customize the sizes by using an extra set, or that it was intended this way. So I thought I’d leave a review to help out other people looking at these. They’re great!

I purchased these to place framed oil paintings, prints, and family photos in for our move into another home. Very sturdy and protective.

Didn’t work at all for what I needed. Ordered 2 packs. Was shipped in one large package. I returned them in one large package. Now I’m being told I didn’t return both packs and my refund is going to be taken back and I’m going to be charged for the one pack. So either I was only given one pack and charged for two or they didn’t process the return correctly. This is a total rip off.

I moved across the country and packed mirrors and a TV in these boxes! Very sturdy boxes. Now to be fair, I did use a lot of packing tape to hold them together, but I saw the moving truck and they had packed those boxes in tight, but nothing got broken.

These may not be what you expect if your used to telescoping boxes. Normally they are two full boxes each with folding ends etc that fit within one another.... where you could use each box independently if you wanted. These are sent in 2 half boxes. Each one has only one side of creased ends that bends to close one end so if you seal the end on one piece you have a box with one open bottom and a completely open side. Your then supposed to slide the other piece into it and make your box size. This leaves you with a section of box that doesn't have a crease on the ends to fully bend properly. Hard to describe but if you think your getting full telescoping boxes this isn't it.
