I was a bit iffy about buying this after reading some of the reviews but my husband really wanted it so we went ahead and I have to say I am glad we did. It has been such a fun edition to movie nights. It was simple to learn and I love the little cabinet for the accessories. It is really cute and I love that it is a cart. Assembly was easy and quick and it really is very nostalgic. The popcorn is fantastic however that is more up to the user to make sure you're using the right stuff *preference* and the right amounts of each. It would be a cute gift idea for a wedding gift or housewarming gift.The only complaints I would have would be that full size items cannot fit in the cabinet and it is easy to jam if you're rushing when trying to set things up and get them going, cleaning can also be frustrating because of the "lip", but overall I would recommend.

It doesn't take up a lot of space. Easy to clean. Makes delicious popcorn.

If my review saves someone else from purchasing this popcorn maker, then I've done my job. I purchased this for family movie nights, which are a big deal in our house. This was a Christmas Eve gift for our family. I assembled it, and my first major red flag was that there was no hole in the side of the popcorn maker to insert and screw in the little lever to tip the kettle to dump the popcorn. So we had to risk burning ourselves to dump it (whatever, we'd deal with it). On Christmas Eve, we started our movie and ran the popcorn maker for the first time; it worked well its first go. A couple of hours later, we switched the popcorn maker back on as we were ready to make another round of popcorn for movie #2, the kettle would spin, but it would not heat at all. I went through all of the troubleshooting steps on the website, and nothing. We tried again the next day hoping it would magically work again, and nothing. I contacted Nostalgia hoping for some help or maybe just a replacement part and the woman on the phone didn't care to help at all, she told me that because it had been within 30 days of purchase on Amazon that I needed to contact them. Amazon would only refund me and told me that I could repurchase. The only issue with this resolution is that I purchased this on sale for Black Friday, so if I wanted to repurchase, I would be spending more to do so. In the end, I had to disassemble this nightmare machine and return it for a refund. I'll never buy this brand again as the machine was trash and so was the customer service.

I love this machine and we use it frequently, however, when popping the popcorn, about 1/3 of the kernels don’t pop. They get blasted out of the metal cooking container when popped popcorn is popping out (hope this makes sense).It took me about 30 minutes to fully put it together and it wasn’t difficult at all. They provide the screws and tools to set everything up.I like that it comes with a popcorn scoop and a few popcorn bags to use as well.It’s a cute machine to put in a basement or movie room, I just wish it popped all the kernels. I feel like I’m wasting a lot of them.

The media could not be loaded. 🍿This beautiful popcorn machine is such a nice addition to our family movie nights. The entire house smells amazing, just like being at the movies. I purchased this for my daughters movie themed birthday party, thinking we would keep it at out basement game room after, but it’s mostly at our family room. It’s easy to move around and we keep everything inside so it’s easier to make popcorn whenever we want. The only thing I don’t like it’s the cleaning. I recommend you buy an insert for the bottom to collect the butter and salt and keep it clean faster. We didn’t do that so it gets messy at the bottom, I will find one that works for it right her at amazon. The actual popcorn metal maker comes out for cleaning which is nice. Let it air dry over night after washing so it doesn’t rust… K highly recommend this💕🍿💕
