Better feel confident first…
These were affordable and worked really well for lap swims and for getting a tan like a 15 year old while getting a workout. I haven’t worn a Speedo in years (I’m 59) so felt a little nervous at first but it was all good!

Good
I'm a 5'7 140-145lb and ordered a size 32. I returned it, and bought a size 36. It is much more comfortable to wear, Although it is still going to be a bit tight in some areas - the point of the speedo.I agree with the comments below; if you are about to get this speedo, I advise to read the comments and even get 2 sizes up of what you are.

Fits good, but for serious swimmers they don't last
I bought one of these suits about about 6 months ago. I swim 6 days a week for about 90 minutes, in a pool that should honestly lose its license due to the abundance of chlorine in it. The original suit after 6 months use is stretched out and has completely lost all its color. Wish they made them to last longer. I have some old Nike drag suits that still have never faded after 20 years, though I've had to redo all the stitching on them. I bought another one as I feel it's as good as it's going to get for a practice suit.

My go-to swimsuit
Update: Still going strong with these briefs, but I do want to state that I ended up with one size larger than what I purchased (36 from 34). To tell the truth I did not heed my own advice: I did not properly measure my waist size before buying the smaller size. The difference with sizing up is having more coverage to your hips and groin.Compared to other briefs, I find this brand and model to be the most comfortable. It's snug and soft while the lining is the least abrasive. I prefer open water swimming and would bring these every time no matter the location. You still need to apply Vaseline or something similar for longer ocean swims because of the properties of salt water.Take the size chart seriously. Measure your waist and buy accordingly. It will feel tight but as the directions state, go into the water a couple times and it will stretch out to the appropriate fit.Side note: I bought these at my local sports store several years ago. Same 78% Eco Recycled Nylon and 22% Xtra Life Spandex marketing, but it was made in Vietnam instead of Sri Lanka. No discernable differences.

Tight fit!
Great quality but sizing is out. I’m 33 waist on a bad day but I couldn’t get these swim trunks over my thighs and I always avoid leg day on my workout

Excellent quality and fit.
I walk and/ or hike an average of 8 miles per day, and I use these exclusively. They provide the very best support, the fit perfectly, and when I walk to the beach, I’ve got a ready-to-go swimsuit. And on backcountry hikes of any duration, there’s simply nothing better.

For me, the sizing was way off, even using their Size guide.
OMG these are sooo tiny. I ordered based on my waist size (same as when I buy pants and shorts), and used the conversion charts in the “Size guide”, but couldn’t even get 1 full leg in these! Wow. Now I’m wondering if the sizing measures as displayed in the “Size guide” are the Chinese ones? That are usually 2 sizes (or more) smaller than U.S.? Sent back the same day they were delivered.

Keep in mind this is a race suit, despite the title
Speedo has always made a good product. The sizing chart, however, is for race suits, which are much tighter than a workout suit. I normally wear a 32 pant which means a 30 suit size. But this was far too tight on me for workouts. Again, would be great for a race suit you wear for just a few minutes, but not hours for a workout.
