Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Moisture Boost Leave-In Conditioner, 8.5 Ounce

I’m absolutely loving Palmer’s Coconut Oil Hair Formula Moisture Boost! It deeply hydrates my hair without weighing it down or making it greasy. When I first sprayed this on my hair I was not liking the scent much. To me, as a couple other reviewers have mentioned, the scent smelled a little fishy and undesirable. However, my husband then came by, not knowing anything about the product, and said that the room smelled of raging coconut. I also had my sister sniff my hair later on and she said it smelled good but she did not identify it as being a coconut smell. On my second use of the product, it still does not smell anything like coconut to me, but rather most likely has the scent of the tropical flower which is also included. It's a bit of an unusual smell to me and now more acceptable. When I walked in the room I had sprayed it in later on, I did smell coconut in the air but it does not smell like coconut on my hair. I think this is one of these things which smells different to each person in the way that some people think cilantro tastes like soap. This does make my hair look great, detangles great, makes my hair very soft, relaxes the curls just a bit and makes my hair much more manageable. Will continue to use it.

This is a good product for braided, natural, or relaxed hair. It gives moisture without feeling heavy. I keep my hair braided and when I use this my scalp does not itch and my hair maintains a nice moisture balance. When I say braided I mean natural hair corn rows. It's easy to spray on and it stays on. You can leave it or massage it just a little. It gives just enough shine to make you smile.

Really great product and smells good too. Use sparingly.

I don't know if anyone else can relate but my hair is very inconsistent in the sense that one day I can wake up and it'll be absolutely fine without brushing it, but the next day regardless of what I put, it takes forever to calm down my naturally wavy poofy hair. I've tried other products by Palmers before so I decided to try this one out and I'm more than satisfied by the results. It doesn't make my hair feel greasy or oily and instead makes it look and feel so soft and shiny! The scent is also very pleasant but unfortunately only lasts a few hours, at least from what I've noticed.Update: 4/01/23I've noticed that Palmers changed both their formula and appearance for both the Coconut and Olive oil leave in conditioners. I haven't tried Palmers since I purchased from Amazon years ago so I wanted to try it again with high hopes. I was rather disappointed. The scent doesn't smell as good or as coconutty as it used to, the bottle doesn't look as appealing, and most importantly it doesn't work the same for my hair as it used to. My wavy/curly hair was visibly thinner and weighed down, it sometimes looked greasy or other times looked extremely dull and matte, and overall just made my hair tangled and fall often. I may try this one again in the future but for now I have to deduct 2 stars from 5 to 3.

I love this product. I have purchased it many times. It makes my hair super soft, shiny and frizz free. I noticed it also protects my hair from the humidity. My hair is super curly and very thick. I like to use this when ever I straighten my hair with the flat iron along with a heat protectant spray. It’s make my hair easy to style and manageable.
