Great filter for AeroPress
Exact fit for the AeroPress. Its super easy to clean and no more paper filters! Debate between paper and mesh is a thing so get these and decide for yourself which appeals to you. I use the finer mesh everyday with fine grind coffee. There is no resistance issues when applying the plunger.Cleaning is super easy I run water over it while one swiping with a soapy sponge on each side and rinse. Just need to remove the leftover grinds it doesn't have to be spotless.

BAAM...way better than paper
I've always wondered how much oil the paper filters stripped from the coffee, and now I know. I didnt think the Aeropress could get better, but, I have to admit, when all the natural oils are in the cup and not soaked into the filter, its BETTER!Now, I'm not saying its going to take some getting used to, especially not throwing out the metal filter every morning because I always just tap the spent grind directly into the trash, but, minor issue in the grand scheme.

Works perfectly
Bought these as I had thought I accidentally threw out my previous one. These work perfectly. Found my original, but these works just as well, and I think the coffee tastes better this way anyway.

Could be Slighter Larger and a Smidge Thicker
I like these filters and am happy I no longer need to buy paper filters every few months. They do the job, and they’re the least expensive stainless ones available for the Aeropress. They’re thin but not too flimsy, if you use caution. They could be a slightly larger diameter; it’s a minor hassle seating one exactly in the middle of the plastic screw-on cap on the Aeropress, where it seals against the plunger-device.

Pour-over/French press hybrid user
HOW I USE MY AEROPRESSWhen I bought my Aeropress Go, I wrongly assumed that the smallest size this company would go was the standard 16oz mug. I hated the suggested brewing methods because they either wasted coffee or brewed too weak because I had to add more water to get a full cup. That said, I use mine like a hybrid between a pour-over and a French press. I add my grounds and water, stir, then continue to top it off as it slowly drips in. Most of the time, the flow rate slows so I press it, then have to retract the plunger back to finish adding all the water (*see note about finicky paper below).FINE SIZE❌ This is a very minor grip, but I think it matters to many users. You apply LESS pressure to plunge this than paper, perhaps that affects the flavor a bit?ULTRA-FINE SIZE❌ Plunging this was hard. I started to question if I was going to break something. It worked, but I prefer the other size, given my brew technique.TAKEAWAYS❌ The edges are sharp. Be careful. Comes with a felt bag for protection.❌ The plate gets hot, but still must be removed after brewing.❌ This makes cleanup a lil more tricky, but not a deal breaker.✔️ Flows like paper would.✔️ Oils make it through. Paper extracts some of the best parts of coffee in my opinion, this doesn't.❌ Sludge can make it through. This makes it more like a French press with the sediment at the bottom.✔️ Paper is wasteful. This obviously fixes that.✔️ Paper is finicky. The stiff plate doesn't flex like paper sometimes does if you need to, say, retract the plunger.

Very similar performance to a paper filter
I got this because I wanted to use my Aeropress to strain loose tea that had been brewed and didn't want to waste more paper filters. It works great for that. I use the one with larger holes (you can look through the filters side by side at a light and see which has the bigger holes, but otherwise it is hard to tell them apart) for tea. Since the tea was brewed already, I didn't care how quickly it would drain, but it was still pretty slow and needed to use the plunger to get the tea through in a reasonable amount of time, with about the same resistance I was used to with paper filters. To see how it did with coffee, I tried that too and it is great, again almost the same as paper filters. Using the smaller holes for coffee, it is no problem pouring the water in and then setting the plunger and letting it steep (without doing inverted). Very easy to clean when you are cleaning the Aeropress anyway. The filters are non-magnetic, so probably actual stainless steel. For what these are, two perforated metal disks, it is a little expensive, but they work very well.

Hard to tell the difference between fine and medium
When I received them I could not figure out the difference by looking. Even with a magnify glass took good look to tell. There should be a marking somewhere on it. As for flavor. I still prefer the paper filter, but this is for travel when I don't want to carry paper filter. They are easy to wash, and if you grind courser you will not get the same sediment as a French press, but you will get more then a paper filter. Not a perfect seal around the disc. but once closed it does not move. Easy to clean but make sure you cool down or wait for it to cool before sliding it off. If you press on the coffee puck all the way. you can apply slight pressure slide it off and you will have clean filter.. just needs a quick rinse. If you do it when its hot.. you might burn your fingers but you will pull coffee off with it and you will have more to clean.

Better flavours than using the paper filters
I've only tried the finer filter so far, which works well with my aeropress, giving about the same resistance as a regular paper filter. It fits perfectly (I only bought the aeropress earlier this year, so not sure why others have said it doesn't fit).Flavour wise, it lets the oils through and a tiny amount of grounds (which I don't mind) and to me the taste is far better than using paper. You do have to use the press in the inverted position though, which is something I used to do with the paper filters anyway. I really can't see me going back to the paper filters now, as even with near daily use (and the occasional "left on the side to wash up later / next day"), the filter still looks like new.

Too small for inverted brewing and don't allow for decent pressure
Bought these hoping for a more environmentally friendly approach than disposable paper filters.Sadly the filters are a little small so don't stay lodged in the filter holder when using the inverted brewing method (which anyone who uses an Aeropress really should try)Also, compared to paper filters these just let the coffee fall through with very little pressure being applied to the plunger, might as well use a cafetiere as the pressure is where the aeropress benefits come from.Returning them, so already worse for the environment (and coffee) than the paper disposables.

Not the best.
I bought these to go with my Aeropress in the hope that they would be more eco-friendly than the actual Aeropress paper filters. They are well made and the different hole sizes can be seen however they do allow ground coffee to pass through resulting in grains in the last few mouthfuls of coffee. The filters are easy to clean but do stick to some of the pressed coffee. While I am not a coffee expert, the paper filters definitely make a better cup of coffee in terms of taste.Overall, these filters are a nice idea but not the best alternative.

Ideal and very thin
These filters are much thinner than the standard AeroPress filters. It is much easier to screw on the filter cap on top of the filter. (This will also prevent some accidents, when the filter cap is not completely on!!) You still have to rinse the filter after use. I also soak in hot water with washing up liquid.

Does what it should
These filters do what they should, yes a difference in taste than paper but that's to be expected. /no need to pay more money for one.
