Dust Control Vent Filters - Pack of 24 Air Vent Filters (4" x 10")

Personally, I didn't think that these would really help, but the price was good and comments from other buyers was very good, so I tried them. It has turned out to be a good buy, they have helped reduce the dust in our house and were easy to install. The first pack contained sufficient numbers to outfit our duct outlets twice, enough for six months service. I will reorder when required!

Exactly what I needed to keep the dust down in my home. Worked really well. However I did use some tape on the sides to keep it in place and then put the registers back in and the insulation is staying put.

You can easily filet or split the filter (then you'll have 48 filters.) We tried using filters as they arrived but our furnace ran and ran - bad air flow. Once split our furance worked normal again and we do have less dust. We'd buy again.

I loved the idea of Dust catching cloths in the vents where the air comes up thru but unfortunately the "cloth" is too thick to allow air to pass thru freely. We live in AZ and still having high heat and these stopped the cold air from being able to enter the room. Good idea that beeds redesigning.

I just put these in my vents. So far they are controlling the dust two days so far.

I 100% regret this purchase. It is completely unsuitable for its advertised use. It produces a lot of its own dust/lint just pulling a sheet out of the bag. When you trim a piece to fit inside a vent, you'll get a bunch of little bits everywhere. I had to use the vacuum after both trimmings.I tried this in two vents, and all it does is reduce airflow to 1% or less. The next time my heat turned on, I felt nothing coming out. I held a strand of paper right under a vent, and it didn't move.Even if you manage to get air flowing through these sheets, they'll add their own "dust" to your air.

So much easier when pre cut.
