I misplaced my Sony battery charger and got this. It takes up so much less space and works very well.

Bought this as an extra unit to charge my Sony NP-FM500H camera batteries. A bit larger than the Sony BC-TRM wall charger, but still compact and has the folding outlet plug on backside (US style 110vac). I like the bright red - green charging status light, much brighter than other units. Downside is that it is a two piece unit and occasionally it comes apart when removing the battery from the charger. My guess this is multi-use unit and can be used with various other battery adaptors (sold separately, of course). It charges quickly, compact, battery is a snug fit and doesn’t fall out.

I had no problem using this charger with the battery I had. It doesn't feel very premium but it gets the job done at a good price.

Display is nice and worth the extra money, easy to read, reasonably fast charging and perfect size to fit in my camera bag.Also tested and works off of a portable battery.

Does what you need it to.

Dead on arrival. Doesn't light up, doesn't charge. It's not even a true fit, it's a larger charger with an attachment to make it fit smaller batteries.Thanks for the trash. Next time I'll just throw $8 directly into the garbage.
