IF it was producing power at 100% (more likely around 69%) it would be 432 watts with a 14.4V input. Class A/B, contrary to this description is inherently, inefficient. Class A biased amps are at their very best (big, hot and very expensive), 50% efficient and the reason class B is combined, everything is a tradeoff. Class A/B, while not as pure a signal as class A, is more efficient providing additional output at the same voltage, best of both worlds if you will for HO SQ. If you are getting this for a sub, don’t. Spend the extra $40 for the Belva class D BXD3K witch at a rate of 89% efficiency (theoretical, not measured on this amp) will produce close to 1500 watts.
