Cuisinart CCO-50N Deluxe Electric Can Opener, White

I bought this as a Christmas gift and she loves it. She loves the clean design, the small size, and it functions flawlessly. It is definitely worth the money. I’m very happy.

Got this today and just had to try it out. I cleaned it, dried it and I opened up a can of Olives for a snack. It's so nice to have an Electric can opener again, been many years without one and my hands are not as strong as they used to be. It's so nice to load it in the opener, push it down and walk away. I came back and it was still on the opener sitting there waiting for me. Ha! It cut nice (as a normal opener can) the magnet is nice and strong and it was easy to clean. Of course I unplugged it before cleaning it. Nice cord that goes back into the back of the machine and I just love this brand! Best buy so far this year... Nicely boxed up and Quick Shipping! Definitely worth the money which wasn't a bad price at all for this brand! I also registered it with the company online and they sent me an email with tons of recipes which was way cool...

It is very sturdy, easy to use and has a nice appearance.

Seems good so far but I'm skeptical because I haven't had this device for long. I have found that all electric can openers have sucked after a while. I use them frequently for canned tomatoes for pasta sauce, and other people type foods but also for feeding my dogs their canned pet food. The evaluation of this product is to be determined.

UPDATE!!! WE BROKE UP!!! I broke up with this cute can opener! I have to stop choosing by looks. It turns out this cheeky bugger was quite unsubstantial and very flimsy! The first thicker can I introduced to it bent it out of shape and our relationship was never the same! So....I kicked it to the curb (trash bin)!!! This came at the worst time in my life! I fell and broke my wrist so I could only use 1 hand! Have you ever tried to open a can with a cheap crank manual can opener that your daughter had broken up with with one hand?! Correct! Like mother, like daughter... we can sure pick um! I wish I took a picture of the hot mess it left behind! So my real life partner had to run to Walmart after coming home from work and found me a rather plain looking replacement for my former cutie pie. Here's a good feature for your practical replacement to posess... auto stop. It knows when to stop! A good trait. We're still together. My deepest and most sincere apology for spreaking too quickly about the first loser as I saw that 12 people found my review helpful and probably hooked up with the cutie patootie.HERE'S OUR ORIGINAL HONEYMOON PHASE: I swore I would never buy another electric can opener because I had purchased a Cutco knife set and it came with one - Cutco makes the best manual can opener but I needed to send it in for servicing (lifetime warranty) so I purchased this very cute Cuisinart electric one. I was pleasantly surprised after the first can opened because I like to rinse the blade with hot water immediately after and I simply slipped it off and voila - task done! Ease of use and great cutting ability plus the attractive appearance - 2 thumbs up! BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.....I was a young fool. LOL

Uncomplicated, efficient, and takes up little counter space. I've only used it with round cans of various sizes, so how it performs with other shapes Is a question I can't answer. Once engaged, it quickly severs the top and shuts off at it's starting point. The magnetic lid retainer keeps the lid from disappearing into the contents, and the guide and cutter seldom shred the paper label which is an annoying feature of lesser openers. The handle assembly detaches easily for cleaning the cutter blade when necessary. One caution. For really large, heavy cans, it is advisable to gently support the can at it's bottom to prevent the opener and the can from upsetting and spilling the contents. This is an issue with all openers of this type, so it's not a design flaw, it's just "the nature of the beast" as they say.

Love the cui products. But the cord is WAY too short

I bought this for my kids home and it's perfect. Because it is tall and skinny it save space on their counters! It is a quality small appliance! Great price too!
