AP/College Physics made simple
I'm a college student taking introductory physics, which is a hard course since it forces you to use math and reasoning skills hand in hand. Although this is geared for AP Physics C, which is much easier than Physics for engineering at universities, Dan Fullerton did a great job at making it attractive for even the most introductory learners. While it doesn't have practice problems, it is a great addition to my physics textbook because it explains topics like Gravitation and Work/Energy in very easy to understand terms, which is great for those who struggle to understand the abstract language most physics textbooks use. Fullerton also does proofs for problems (such as how conservative forces are the negative of the work done), which also helps me understand why they got the answer (since most textbooks skip steps). It's also a very short text (about 200 pages), so take your time while reading this. He also has a YouTube channel that has very good demonstrations as well. Highly recommend this book!

5 on the exam!
I cannot lie about this... I didn't pay attention in my AP class at all. I honestly thought I was going to fail this exam and thought I could comfort myself from saying I at least tried. Spent 3 days review before the exam, finishing the entire book. Work was one of the hardest things I learned in class but this book made it make so much sense. All the problems are worked out cleanly and it isn't difficult to navigate as the chapters are split into the major topics. I would say this book is responsible for my 5.This book won't satisfy a course replacement. It is heavily conceptual. I just happened to be good at the application from many math classes. As a side note, I would recommend studying the energy and kinematic sections the most as this book breaks it down really well. Also, the majority of my exam was focused on that.

Absolutely amazing, got my daughter a 5
My daughter spent about a week finishing this book and doing all the problems and then a week doing practice tests. Got her a 5 on the AP exam. Would highly recommend.

Helpful to review concepts!
Got a 5 on the AP Exam. A helpful book to review concepts and brush up on old concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. Highly recommend.

Have a great day and BUY this book!
Dan delivers a wonderful companion for AP Physics C-Mechanics. The companion is clear and easy to follow. The problem sets are perfect for helping students learn. The illustrations are outstanding. If you buy the book, you can even read the book on your device for free. All around the companion is an excellent addition to my tool kit. I've been sending my students and other teachers to his website, A Plus Physics, for years. Now I will be sending them to get his companion book as well. My only question is when will the electricity and Magnetism companion be available? Thanks Dan for all you do.

A Must for every high school student enrolled in AP Physics -
I seldom write reviews but not to do so for this excellent book will be an injustice. My Kids have taken AP Physics C in high school (2017-2018) and this has been a God Send for them. Contrary to the huge 10 lb Class text book, this was rather solid fun for them and both of them are able to handle complex problems after going through the book and associated videos . This book delivers physics concepts in most lucid and entertaining ways and the problems associated with each chapter are meaningfully created. We are eagerly waiting for the 2nd book that is due, related to "Electricity and Magnetism" . Any idea of when is this expected?

Perfect level for HS
Many AP physics texts provided in HS are too complex and unnecessary depth. This explains what you need to know (period).
