TCL43" Class 4-Series 4K UHD HDR Smart Google TV – 43S446, 2022 Model

I have the 43". I use this as a PC monitor.I work in software development and do it as a hobby so text and image clarity is very important. This TV delivers that very well without issue, but you must not use the terrible preset PC setting which ups the sharpness to 100 making text look very rough. I recommend putting sharpness down to 30-40. And of course turning off "enhancements" like noise reduction and headache inducing motion interpolation.This is a sweet spot for productivity monitor. The 43" size means I don't have to put scaling to 125%. It isn't annoyingly large and stretched out. The 4K resolution means I can use it like 4 1080p monitors in one with plenty of vertical space which is ideal for me.One minor nitpick is that setting TV input to PC requires two separate actions on remote/app instead of one. And the setting to use the last know input doesn't always work and will sometime land on the Google TV home when the PC is on and active. This just a minor few seconds of annoyance every other day.Also be aware that tape is applied to bezels stuck to the screen. You must be very careful when removing the tape.I recommend this monitor especially at this price point.

Be careful with logging in yo Google at setup. It said it couldn't login and directed me to place a call to a number to set it up! It turned out the number was a scam, they kept insisting on me logging onto other accts to activate the TV, with Amazon, they took me for 79$ Playstation card!They also tried getting me to use other cash applications, cash app, Amazon, Google, etc and even tried to get me to give my bank info.If there's any issue go to Google setup and call Google nit the number that comes up on screen!

After 6 months the picture on the TV went out. Okay, I understand the reality of the situation, it is a cheap TV, that is shipped across the world and it didn't last very long. Stuff happens. Looked it up and product has a 1 year warranty. We called customer service, waited on hold for a while, finally got in touch with them, went through all the troubleshooting steps and they were going to send us information to get a return box. After not hearing anything from TCL I emailed customer support. They stated they need a video of the TV not functioning properly. I sent them the video promptly. Then waited. Then I followed up again to check the status of my warranty. They replied and said they would forward my case to the proper department. Then I waited another couple weeks. Nothing. So I called and spoke to a representative. She made me get the TV back out of the shipping box and try to see if they light was still on at the bottom of the screen. After running that test she wanted to send a technician out to take a look at it.Its a $200 TV. I told her I was done wasting my time on the TV and its going in the garbage. Maybe that is their tactic, to delay and delay and delay and delay until I give up. Believe me their plan worked beautifully. With all the time combined we have wasted about 6 hours of man power to try and get the issue resolved. Its been broken for 3 months and honestly I wish I would have just dropped it in the dumpster the day it broke.

Great upgrade for me. I use cable and was needing help so I called the number listed in the manual. Josh was fabulous and walked me right through it! He could have not been more helpful in assisting me. Great price and will purchase this brand again. I actually bought this one because my son had recently bought the same one and it helped me make my decision. We both extremely like this brand and model. 75 in. is awesome!

I love that I can use Spotify and YouTube without getting on my Xbox and that I can use the Google button to tell it which app to use. If you like games then you can download games on the TV and play directly on it but only a small amount and some kind of controller because the tv remote inst good enough ig. The video is pretty good and when I am on my Xbox it switches to game mode. The bad things are that it switches on and off of game mode when doing anything other than a game like watching a clip from a friend. The settup to the TV can be a little bit of a pain, idk why I needed to make a TCL account when I'm never on the TCL channel. Don't like that I can't customize the home screen so km stuck looking at what they recommend instead of a homescreen picture or my apps right away. Also don't like that I can't turn off buttons on my remote like Amazon prime because I don't use it and my sausage fingers hit it accationly. Also if your remote breaks then you might not be able to turn on your TV because it doesn't have buttons just plug ports.

I really couldn't be happier with this TV. I can't speak to the smart features though. I don't use them as I stream all my content through my PS4. The set up was simple and self explanatory with simple options ro skip any nonsense. The TV has a fantastic picture! I mean; really phenomenal. Crystal clarity, deep blacks, and vibrant colors. I'm really enjoying the set and am so glad I made the purchase.

I bought this for my father when his TV recently went out. Personally, I have a couple of year old OLED display from LG. I must say, I was extremely impressed with this. Coupled with how inexpensive it is? It's a steal!Extremely happy with this purchase!
