Autism Usage:I was finally diagnosed with autism at age 30, and looked for stim toys that were just like the ones that I always played with as a kid, especially squishy things. I love that it's spacey black with glittering stars, and handling it helps to keep me calm and keep my hands busy.UV Light:The itty bitty UV flashlight that comes with it can only shine on a tiny bit of surface area at a time, so it's impossible to get the whole lump of putty to glow all at once. Also, you have to hold down the button for the light to stay on, which gets tiring for your hand. I purchased a larger UV flashlight separately, and now making the putty glow is much more enjoyable.Tin:Be careful how you store the tin. If it gets turned sideways or upside down, the putty will get into the crevices of the tin and seal the lid shut. After not using the putty for a few months, I had to pry the tin open with a screwdriver which is why my tin now looks dented.Longevity:I've had this putty for a year now, and it's still just as pliable and glowy as it was when I first purchased it.Conclusion:Overall, I'm quite pleased. This autistic adult is a very happy camper.

My student s loved this putty and bringing it to life with the light. Crazy Aaron’s putty is always the perfect consistency and is great in the classroom for students needing sensory input. I love it because it does not stick to clothing or other materials like slime does and is much less messy than kinetic sand.

This stuff is awesome! It's great for someone who needs to fidget with something. Texture is like moldable rubber. I remember having this stuff as a kid and I actually kept a piece which never dried out because it's silly putty and that's the awesome part about it. I love the stardust, one of my favorites. It's very pretty when you use a black light on it, also lights it up quicker. I did receive my tin and was difficult to open, but it made a fun challenge for me. Be helps to twist to he lid as you pull but I if you have a file or put near heater it will try be open quickly. I've never found putty to ever dry out even if you leave lid off. The reason the tin comes half full is because if they filled it ( which I bought two of the same to have double amount and put it in one tin) and the tin was glued shut and only by experimenting with heat and small objects that could fit under the lip that I managed to figure a way to open it. I would definitely recommend this. It doesn't stay stuck to your hands like gak, and it's great for anxiety or someone who needs to fiddle. Thank you

Love the concept but I wish it was less firm. My hand muscles 💪🏼 got a little more of a workout than I desired. Also, for the suggestion box, a screw on lid for the tin would be a wise idea. I had to pry it open with a screwdriver and damaged the tin in the process. In summary, while using this thinking putty, I was thinking I wish it was more pliable and the tin was not so darn hard to open.

First: reviews complaining of the putty being "dried up" don't realize that is the expected state for a non-Newtonian fluid after settling during storage and shipping. My pictures document the progression from opening to use. It does take a little bit of effort to open the tin and peel all the putty out, but once the bulk is out it can be used to stick to and pull out the rest. Kneaded for a bit it becomes a very usable putty. Left for a while it settles in the tin into a firm, flat, glossy surface.After discovering Crazy Aaron's with "Super Scarab" I became a putty junky and this was the next color I ordered because who doesn't love multi-colored glowing sparkles? As other reviews note, the color isn't a true black but more of a dark charcoal in certain light. Balled up it does look more black. After handling it looks more charcoal. Left to rest it looks more black again. The glitter is less holographic and more iridescent, some flakes and smaller microglitter. The glow effect is very pretty, primarily blue with red and green.Tactile sensation, it's initially a bit stiffer than the Super Scarab but after a bit of handling it softens up. It has a very faint chemical smell, not overpowering, I have to hold it right to my nose to smell it, but Super Scarab has no scent at all. I'm very pleased with this putty in general and keep it at my desk at work.

I’d first like to say that I rarely write Amazon reviews. This is perhaps my second or third of all time. With that in mind, I of course did not purchase this putty planning to write a review.That all changed once I got my hands on this textured goop from heaven. This has been so fun to play with and keep my hands active while working or scrolling through things throughout the work day. The texture is also dynamic and strengthening. It gets soft the more you work it, and then hardens again once you put it down.Feeling aside, this thing is a joy to look at and create shapes with. The UV light brings out a glow that’s visually enchanting, and throughout the day the sparkles provide tons of shine to get lost in.If you’re a putty person, I’d consider this batch an essential addition to your arsenal. If you’re not yet a putty person, I encourage you to give this a try. Perhaps you’ll get converted to a putty person just like I have.
