I can't count the times I've tried to find an oversized "Stacon" ring connector .... or effected some crappy workaround. Get this box .... an assortment of sizes of decent copper lugs ... some big enough for battery cable terminations. Kind of middle-weight material, but not bad. Enough lugs that, unless you're a professional, you'll never run out of them. And if you're a pro, you already have a more expensive set. For me, I can buy the whole box for less money than it costs me to drive to the parts store for a couple lugs. And, yeah, the shrinkwrap is a nice extra touch .... proper sizes so you don't have to search around looking for SW that fits.

I only needed two lugs to make one cable, but it's wasn't possible to find the exact dimensions I needed. At this price, two lugs at a hardware store would have been almost as much anyway. The copper crimped easily and solidly without solder. The case is pretty flimsy plastic, but it works well enough to sit on a shelf.

These are not bad for the price. They could be a bit heavier/thicker but for lower amperage solar or auto uses they're just fine. Solder or crimp well and are copper thru and thru.

Good quality set. A must have for wire repairs. Works perfectly, with good heat shrink. Good fit on wires.

Rings work as expected. Case is flimsy, but should hold up for home use if not banged around to much

For the money I am not disappointed in the quality and materials. In my pictures, the left lug is a TecTran 2ga lug with 5/16" hole. The material is twice as thick and should also be a higher quality copper. The 2 on the right are also 2ga. Lugs from this kit. The center piece is 2ga. w/ 5/16" hole, the right is 2ga. w/ 3/8" hole.I will try these out, but if they fail I can't complain because of the price point. Wish me luck on the hydraulic crimping.
