Sturdy, Easy to Install
Sturdy, easy to install, works smoothly. Just had to snip very little to work great. Definitely recommend it.

Cheap and not very sturdy.
I've built several screen doors for out home and a couple of friends homes. Normally buy parts from HD but since I was ordering a soft door closer from Amazon I figured I would just get one from here as well. Built the screen door and installed it with little to no difficulty. Adjusted everything and it worked fine. Closer left a little bit to be desired but not bad overall. A couple of hours later when I went to exit and depressed the inside latch the assembly broke apart. I picked up the parts and found the actual spring-loaded latch had broken off. Contacted Amazon but only option I had was to call manufacturer. Called them and explained and they said contact Amazon. Explained what Amazon had said and the rep started telling me I was going to have to take pictures, write detailed explanation of what happened, etc. It's a cheap 7 dollar part and I just wanted to get it replaced. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T GET THIS POS. I just went down to Home Depot and paid 10 bucks for a unit a little bit better than this one.UPDATE:Bought another one since is was cheap and less of a headache than trying to get this thing replaced. Also a piece of junk. Same exact thing happened. Plastic push button actuator pin in handle keeps deflecting off to the side and binding on inner latch. Makes the latch bind and not function. Had to basically jam my knife inbetween the jam and the screen door to open it. Then it broke. What a waste of money.

Will it lock you out??????????
Great latch with one exception. The lock somehow locked when we were outside & all other doors were locked. I had no choice but to just yank it open, which destroyed it. I liked the lock enough that I bought another & installed it. It too locked me out, but my wife was in the house & opened the door. I am not going out unless someone is in the house. Has anyone else experienced this, or am I just the unlucky one?

Looks nice but measure before ordering (attaches almost on the edge of door)
If you are replacing a latch on your storm doors, MEASURE the distance of your latch holes from the door edge before ordering. I really wanted this to work as it is a very nice looking latch, but I found that this attaches almost on the edge of the door. As shown in the picture, the holes needed for this latch are only 9/16-inch from the door edge. If your holes are farther in, like mine is, this will not work as a replacement. At the current price of $11.22 (Black) to $12.19 (white) This is a good purchase if it fits your door. It is stylish and well made. The only complaint I had is that the push nob and spindle are plastic which has to be trimmed if your door is not thick enough (this is poorly explained in the directions). However, since the add does not mention the distance that the latch will attach, for use on existing doors, I have deducted one star.

Total crap, buyer beware
Item is crap!I've replaced many door handles in my life. This one is simple to install, but doesn't work. I'm just replacing a very old one that fell apart after 30ish years so all the whole are in place. This one lines up, but once installed it's stuck and the buttons do not work. I've took it off and made sure it's installed correctly about 15 times now and nothing I do changes it. The buttons simply do not work and now my animals can get out the house which is not ok!!!! I have a screened room and the cats have a door for access to it so their not stuck inside the house, but they're not allowed lose in the neighborhood, and here I am with a brand new for handle that does not work. SMH, waste of time and money. Only thing going is it wasn't expensive, but still a waste
