Great product. Would recommend.
Really easy to fit, with a few potential gotchas. When using shielded cable the best way to put it together is to first put the lock nut on the cable. Strip 30-40mm length of the sheath. Push the shielding back on to the sheath. Wrap the grounding wire around the shielding. Then put the wire clamp over the shielding (A) about 1-3mm back from the end of the sheath (check it against the plug for fit). Then put on the plastic IDC (B) pull the wires through till the IDC is about 1-2mm from the end of the sheath and the clip (again check against the plug for fit). Push into the plug when happy and clamp the plug closed with waterpump pliers. Trim the excess shielding. Tighten up the lock nut (you may need an small adjustable wrench). I found using waterpump pliers made compressing the IDC into the plug so much easier. If all went to plan, job should be a good-un.Note that the graphic of the wiring looks "odd" because the "O" is at the front but the "O" is on the bottom of the IDC but if you notice the arrows are pointing to the back for the "U" (top) and front for the "O" (bottom). However the "O" goes all the way to the end while the "U" is set back.Having wired up 4 (with another 10 to be ordered and fitted once I've run more cable) I have to say they were really easy to use. They feel and look great (this is a visible home setup). The data transmission is rock solid 40M@1gbs (will know 10G results when new switch is ordered). Very impressed.

Great product.
Great product.I used it for CAT6A STP cable.Ran it from downstairs router via outside wall, then up the first floor in a trunking and back through the outside wall to my office.4 start and not 5 because I had to refer to vendor video outside of Amazon. Amazon video is not showing exactly how to terminate this product. But final efect is great.I'm getting the same internet speed which I have directly on the router.Recommended.

Good connectors but tightening sleeve is too small
First time I use this kind of connectors and managed to successfully terminate my cat6a ftp cable with some work around job. I had a bit of struggle with the tightening sleeve as I needed to perform some cutting for the inner pins because wouldn't let me close proper the connector. I tried to use copper foil but when I come closer with tightening sleeve it ripped off all as is no space left between them, probably was designed for Cat6a UTP, but for cat6a FTP 23awg as I said was a bit difficult, the cable is a bit more tick. Was taking more time to fix that tightening slave than to perform the terminations itself.I was very skeptical about it when I buy but look like is doing a good job in the end without data or connectivity issues.I will buy again if need more in the future.

Finally worked!
I have tried many connectors, and couldn't get full network speed.Probably my skill level and dodgy terminating, but these worked first time - excellent, so happy.

Excellent. Brilliant design. A Child Could Fit Them.
These are the best RJ45 connectors if you want to guarantee maximum traffic. They use a positive connection method similar to that used in a punch-down Krone box. Because there is no crimping of the RJ45 contacts, there is zero damage to the gold strips, as often is the case when you use crimping tools.I won't use anything else from now on.

Good idea, poorly executed
The connectors looked good and felt good but clearly a major problem in the manufacturing process as 50% of them caused problems when used. They were a bit fiddly to get the pairs in the correct location (more so than a standard crimped RJ45 connector) but it was easy to see if they were correct or not once before closing thanks to a removable location block. Despite this and even after being checked and even reattached to confirm no errors in the location of the cores half created the same error time-after-time with dead shorts across various pins. LAN tester subsequently failed them for crosstalk. In the end, I gave up, and used standard crimped termination as I had zero confidence these were not going to turn out to be faulty and having to waste time redoing the jobs.Requested a refund as product was unreliable but I’ve not received it so far
