It also includes an extra big turbo fan, a USB 3.0 Port & 2x USB 2.0 Ports to power peripherals.This was bought as a present for my son, and he’s reported back that the Xbox is kept a lot cooler with it on, especially through prolonged use while gaming. He especially likes the lights, that represents the different speeds of the fan at the time of use, or just as a light display. He prefers this type of fan, as opposed to the type that sits on top sucking the air out the top, this type, where the Xbox sits on the fan, is a lot more efficient.He especially likes the various USB sockets, which act like an extension, so he can plug his handset battery charger etc into these.And it’s soooo quiet, he’s happy to recommend.

The product itself is quite large and increases the footprint of the Xbox, not a problem for me, but others may not want that.The base houses a large fan, 3 usb ports, and a nice array of RGB lighting.The lights are bright but not too invasive if gaming in a dark room, the fan is very quiet even in high speed mode and the lights give the xbox a nice touch.In testing it provided around a 3-4 degree temperature drop over normal when playing a system intensive game (BF2042). Nothing spectacular, but ok.I personally paired it with G-STORY Cooling Fan for Xbox Series X with Automatic Fan Speed Adjustable by Temperature, LED Display, High Performance Cooling,3 Speed 1500/1750/2000RPM (140MM) with RGB LED https://amzn.eu/d/bVIUMjx which gave a combined temperature drop of around 10-15 degrees while playing. Console now sits around 34-35 degrees, even during very long gaming session.Personally I like the base, I like the colours and I do believe it helps by pushing through more air to help cool the system quicker.

As anyone with a Series X will atest, they pump out a serious amount of heat. I bought this to assist the internal fans in the hope that it will prolong the consoles life. Unfortunately, in order to get the kid of airflow your high-end graphics need, you may need to havie it on full power. This is where the main drawback is. Most games only require level one, maybe 2 fan speed, which largely goes unnoticed. Full speed however sounds like a plane taking off relative to a quiet room. As a streamer, this is not ideal but not a deal-breaker. With that said, this thing is packed. The aforementioned multi-speed fan, extra front-facing USB ports (2 USB2 and 1 USB3) and an RGB baselight not only make it pretty to look at but functional as well. If you can forgive the volume of the fan, this wont radically change your gaming experience but will serve as an assist to your Xbox and give you wriggle room with cable management. Overall, I would advise this for anyone, like myself, who doesnt like fiddling with the USB behind the console.

Everything works but unfortunately fan is really loud, will have to see if I can replace it with something quiet.

i bought this a month ago and its totally useless stops working when it wants to and xbox x still keeps over heating due to that i had to stop 2 streams which affected my sponsors and income dont buy

This item is perfect. Keeps my console cool. During the hot temperatures in the UK, my console started to overheat but this works a dream. It has a few USB ports on the front which is great and the ambient lighting is also brilliant.The only issue I found is it has turned itself on in the middle of the night, once or twice. I don’t know if it’s an issue with the product or due to some power issue at my end. Regardless it’s a very minor thing.On the whole, this item is perfect and does exactly as it says on the tin.
