Absolute high quality
This air filter is quality written all over it. I have never seen an air filter with fuzzy foam used that not only contributes to its solid frame but it must prevent dust and debris from getting into the filter fins in the first place. I can't believe that such high quality filter is priced so low. Well moving forward, if this company makes filter to all of my cars and trucks and motorcycles then I'm buying it from them. 2 THUMBS UP for this product.

Same of OE
Mann and Mahle always for our multiple BMW’s. Can’t go wrong and intend if buy them on sale but prices of auto parts have gone up and now with Trump will skyrocket.

Did not work for me ... at first!
This review is for the C 25 114/1. I put this in my '05 X3 with 80K miles. A few days later, I got the check engine light and the codes read lean mixture in both bank 1 and 2. I thoroughly checked the intake hose for leaks, MAF, O2 sensors and even the gas cap seal (all common issues on older BMWs). I reset the CEL and it came back again in a few days with the same codes. I had the older OEM filter laying around so switched that back and again reset the codes. It has been a few weeks and no CEL yet. I will monitor this for a few more weeks and if all seems well will buy an OEM filter from the dealership to replace my old one. Not sure if I got a defective piece but it did not work for me.Update Aug 2015 - Ok. So I read somewhere that it is recommended that one should clean the MAF when changing the Air Filter. I bought a $3 can of MAF cleaner, sprayed the MAF sensor according to instructions and put in the new Mann filter. It has been 500 miles since and no lean codes so I guess it worked! Updating my rating and review to positive based on latest developments.
