MasterClassLarge Roasting Tin,Deep with PTFE, PFOA and BPA Free Non Stick, Grey, 39 x 28 x 7 cm

Bought this as I needed a deep roasting tin.Some people complaining about the coating coming off. Have used this several times already and coating is satisfactory and I have another tin from the same maker which I've had several years which is still in good condition.

Sometimes you buy a roasting tin and it's pathetic, food sticks to it, it's hard to clean. WOW this thing is superb, in fact it's better than superb. Nothing sticks to it and what I do to clean it is wait till it cools then wipe it with kitchen towel before I wash it. This thing not only has fantastic non-stick it's built like a tank. We also bought 2 x large Yorkshire pudding trays from the same brand and we will be replacing all our baking trays soon again the same brand.

I bought this primarily to cook Detroit style pizza. The pan is very sturdy and would suit a variety of cooking uses. For pizza however the pan doesn’t retain as much heat as I would like and the base of the pizza tends to sweat slightly and soften, and also doesn’t crisp up quite as much as I’d like so I probably wouldn’t recommend it for that if that’s what you’re planning to use it for. No complaints about quality or durability and I’ll just use it as a large roaster from now on.

Good roasting dish sturdy

The tray seemed perfect. Heavy construction and exactly the right size for my oven. Today I used it for the second time (both times only ever having used plastic implements as I wanted it to last) and when washing with a soft sponge and warm water I was astonished to see patches of the non-stick coating peeling straight off (as described by others here).I'm really disappointed - it claims to be a quality product but the coating is no better than you'd find on trays bought for a fraction of the price. Of course this makes the tray unusable as anything cooked in it will be contaminated bits of coating.The hunt for a decent large roasting tray continues.

I am very pleased with this roasting pan. I have had several other brands in the past: some are thin, and warp easily, others have begun to lose their non stick coating within a few months of regular use, and the latest one before this dropped rusty water out of the rolled edge at the corners where there is a gap. This pan does none of that.Master Class gets good reviews here on Amazon and I can see why. This is a well made, heavy, solid pan. It has a tough coating that should last well in excess of the five years it's guaranteed for. And as for a 25-year guarantee on the pan itself, any manufacturer that can offer this must be supremely confident of its product's performance and longevity. This certainly helped persuade me to buy it.I am so far very happy with the pan -it has done its job as it should and has been very easy to clean. I have been sufficiently impressed with results so far that I have bought a second one. It's worth adding that the price here on Amazon is considerably better than the retail price I have seen on this in some local stores.Highly recommended.AAUPDATE MARCH 2015Now almost three years on and these are still going strong and have survived family life, roasting, and a dishwasher's ministrations. Unfortunately their sister Masterclass baking trays have not lasted as well, but I think because of more physical abuse. These are excellent and I am very happy with them still.

I use this dish at least once a week, and have done now since I bought it in a panic for Christmas 2017 when I realised my existing dish was too small, and it has yet to disappoint.Strong, nice and deep to contain the extra liquid roasts produce, and a very good size for even sizeable joints of meat. I've used it for Lamb, Beef, Turkey, Chicken, Roast Potatoes, Parsnips, Med Veg and even made a fruitcake in it with no issues at all.The dish is VERY easy to clean, and most of the time just wipes clean with a little dish detergent and a warm damp cloth. Even after a particularly unfortunate disaster involving roast parsnips and honey and 5 hours in the oven, it cleaned up well with a soak in fairy and a wipe. I confess though, I am quite lazy and more often than not just fire it in the dishwasher. As yet no ill effects to the integrity of the dish or the non stick coating.
