Youshiko YC9311 Wireless Temperature & Humidity 3 - Channel Sensor for Weather Station

Bought as a second sensor and strangely delivered separately to the weather station itself (which comes with one sensor). Very easy to set up and works immediately.

Had original one: eventually died after many years. Bought this as a replacement. Works fine but had to read very small print of original package.

Absolutely delighted with the wireless temperature sensor which I bought with the weather station., I now have a sensor outside and one in the greenhouse. Seems to be very accurate as far as temperature is concerned - not sure about accuracy of humidity but that is not so important to me.

Don't believe the advertised range. This fails totally at 10m with totally clear line of sight. It is now 5m from the display unit and still periodically loses signal. This is a replacement as I assumed that the first one was faulty. It would appear that it is just a substandard product

Average .. works ok .. but often drops the connection .. a little hit and miss

I bought two of these to connect to my wireless weather station. They seem to work quite well, but do suffer a little bit with range. My house is a 1920's house with 10" solid walls though. Would probably be a lot better in these modern houses with paper thin walls! Battery seems to last ages which is always a bonus.

This is quite a difficult review, because although I really like the Youshiko thermometer - lets me see what the temperature is outside when I'm sitting in the living room - this monitor is actually a replacement for one that broke about a month after it passed its warranty date, which was rather annoying. But assuming it lasts a bit longer than the last one, this is a good monitor that has a reasonable range - mine is in the garden about three metres from the back of the house. But nb. the signal won't go thru thick walls or thru multiple walls - it is only a small device after all.

Didn’t work on installing batteries, pressed reset on both new sensor and display everything works. Lucky the new sensor was up set up on channel 3, would have preferred display scrolled through channels automatically but no problem. Happy to recommend display and up to three separate sensors.
