Power-protected SSD - Yes and Thank You
These are fast as expected, reasonably-priced and most-importantly THEY ARE POWER PROTECTED so they can be used with data you actually care about. Basically ALL consumer-grade SSDs are not power protected and an no-warning power loss (gee, that never happens, right?) can scramble them. These should be safe in that regard and now with some time on them I've seen no indication that I'll be unhappy over the next many years of their use. They've come down in price quite a bit; Micron has made these for some time but they used to be a lot more expensive and now, at this capacity, they're reasonable. Recommended.
