Meets all my needs
This hub is exactly what I am looking for as a solution to sit on my desk. It looks great, built well, but still offers great bandwidth.Build Quality: The body of the hub is made of aluminum. It has a nice black powder coating. Scratching the body doesn't seem to leave any marks, and the oils from my hand don't seem to be a problem. It feels to have enough wait to it to keep it from moving around my desk, without being too heavy. There isn't any unnecessary branding other than the company name, with no tacky stickers or colors.Accessories: The hub comes with its own power supply and an USB B to USB A/C cable. It's rated at 15 Watts (3 Amps 5 Volts). The cables have a nice, heavy click into place and don't feel like they want to come back out easily. The USB cable is long enough (3.3 Ft) to reach my desktop with a little extra to spare. The USB cable has a large diameter. Without cutting it open, this would imply good insulation between wires and having all the pins needed connected without cutting corners. The Power supply cable looks to be about the same length.Packaging: I personally liked the packaging. It was the perfect size, came with minimal plastic, and could act as a travel box for the hub in your backpack.Interface: Each USB port has its own power button that has a nice blue LED that isn't too bright. The buttons click nicely and are smooth in motion.Speed: I personally think, for the price, the price to speed is very acceptable. In my screenshot, I did get about half the write speeds in Sequence tests, but the write speeds are still high 30 MBs (I tested with a cheaper SanDisk USB Drive). For most applications, it really isn't a problem. For high precision applications and ultra-high speeds, you'd likely need something different, but on the other hand, you'd likely be speeding $100+ for something of this caliper. Unfortunately, I do not have a device fast enough to check thresholds, but I feel confident the hub should be able to achieve the advertised USB 3.0 5Gbps rating.Extra: Even when your computer is off, this hub will still charge your device. This is super nice for charging headphones, cellphones, etc. The color matches the rest of my other devices on my desk. I don't have a USB voltage Amps monitor tool, but you're given 3 amps to share over 7 ports. There aren't too many devices that I can think of that would require high amps to function. I don't see 3 amps not being enough for a majority of users.Overall: I like this hub, it does what I want, does it well for the price, looks good on my desk, and gives me control for each port. It has some extra features, like charging at all times, and is something I'll keep on my desk for the foreseeable future.Cons: I personally don't have any. I'm quite happy with it. There are definitely quicker hubs out there, but again, for the cost, it does everything I want and then some. Time will tell if it will last for the next few years, but given they have a good warranty policy and offer the ability to get free extended warranty, I'd like to believe most companies would only offer extended warranties for free if they thought their producted wouldn't last at least that amount of time. Sure, they could be a fly by night company, but given I have used other products from them and have like those as well, I have confidence in their products.

Adds the flexibility needed for Arduino Microporcessor Project Development
I have fun designing, developing and building Arduino Microprocessor based projects. Programming these small processors using USB ports is quick and easy - unless the USB ports are buried behind the computer or monitor. I mounted this USB 3 Hub on the edge of my workspace for easy access and it has proven itself extremely useful! Now, I am able to easily connect multiple Arduino Microprocessors to the computer during software development and, as these 4 ports are powered from a separate power supply, there is no need to be concerned for exceeding USB Power limits. Very Nice!

Works as Advertised
This 7-Port USB 3.0 hub is perfect for what I need, a nightly flash-drive backup and a monthly backup employing several flash drives. I haven't tried it with all 7 ports active at once, but it works perfectly with four active and no reason to think it wouldn't work with more. This hub replaced a Sabrent 7-Port USB 3.0 hub that I thought was giving me black-screen reboots, though it turned out the Sabrent wasn't doing that. I got those reboots with this hub in place too, and I'm not certain what is/was causing them (I suspect my UPS!), but it's neither this hub nor the Sabrent. They're both fine, and in fact I wonder if they use the same firmware.I like this one a little better than the Sabrent because there is a little more space between the USB ports. Someone else might like the Sabrent better for exactly that same reason; it's a bit shorter. There is one minor issue: When I boot my ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero mobo into the BIOS, rescue devices that are connected to this hub do not appear in the BIOS list of bootable devices. It's not much of a problem, though, because in a real rescue situation the bootable device can be plugged directly into the computer, where it will always show up.20250627: There is another issue too; Several times now I have had a connected disk drive go down because I accidentally bumped the on/off switch for that drive. Or perhaps a cable bumped the switch. This causes a problem with backups going to that drive. I wish the switches were much harder to change, and in fact I wish the switches could be entirely disabled. I have three of these hubs now, and have been using them for years, and have never once wanted to turn a device off.

Great Compact USB 3.0 HUB with great data Transfer speeds
This USB hub functions extremely well with full USB 3.0 data transfer speeds. It has the capability to hard disconnect external hard drives, microphones, cameras, printers, etc with the press of a button. The buttons are soft touch and have a blue LED turning on or off to show which ports are active. It's a great hub. It is optionally powered and it transfers data fast. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a few more USB 3.0 ports. I am replacing my old USB hub TENDAK USB 3.0 which is not working any more. Very compact given the number of ports on it. This hub is exactly what I am looking for as a solution to sit on my desk. It looks great, built well and still offers great bandwidth. The body of the hub is made of aluminum. The hub comes with its own power supply and an USB B to USB A/C cable. It's rated at 15 Watts (3 Amps 5 Volts). The USB cable is long enough (3.3 Ft) to reach my desktop with a little extra to spare. With it being both USB A and USB C, this lets me use it on both my home PC and my work laptop which is type c mainly.Overall: I like this hub, it does what I want, does it well for the price, looks good on my desk, and gives me control for each port. It has some extra features, like charging at all times, they have a good warranty policy and offer the ability to get free extended warranty. I have used other products from RSHTECH and have like those as well, I have confidence in their products.Cons: I personally don't have any. I'm quite happy with it.
